I don't see much new here:
The USC players became really attached to Orgeron and didn't want him to leave. Clegg, whose only college experience is with Orgeron, says he returned to college ball only b/c of Orgeron. Nice comment, even if there is a little apple shining going on.
Not clear how this should impact one's assessment of Orgeron's competence as a head coach, based on all other data points out there.

What is he supposed to say? If he says anything resembling a critique of the situation, he will be fired before he gets started. #insecureatthetop

Tiger Ree thread slobbering on O's knob. Nothing to see here. Keep working, Derek.

Doesn’t that spit in the face of “all the rats are jumping off the ship! No one wants to work for Coach O!”?

Where did I say no one wants to work for Coach O?

Agreed. There's no reason to begrudge Cregg's feelings about Orgeron. I'm sure they had great experiences together at USC and Cregg will do well for the OL.

However, none of it means the program will improve under Orgeron.

I don't think it's directly Derek with some of the positive threads but student workers hired by the administration to hype LSU football and spread news in a positive light.

I don’t take anything an assistant says about the HC seriously . It’s his employer. He has to kiss his arse.

I’ll agree with this. It’s a good article. If anyone other than TR posted it I’d have probably upvoted.

Everything he posts here is Orgeron-centric.

He even turned a charity kickball event into a suck off O thread.

Cregg and Sullivan are both solid hires in my opinion. Cregg has a track record of really developing sound pass protection at the college and NFL level with USC, Tenn and the Broncos.

Sullivan put 2 rookie WRs into the pro bowl and 7 total. He's a very good technical, hands on coach which we sorely lacked at the WR position. I wouldn't get too hung up on his age. I imagine he'll pass the torch in a year or two. Joseph; however, was a mistake hire IMO.

Hard workers huh

That’s nice and all, but I just want what is best for winning. Etling was also a hard worker, but limited.

None of these coaches will determine whether or not O can handle the all in task if running the program. Organizational skills. That's where losing Austin Thomas hurts. Say what you will about the stuff with Thomas lately but here he provided a huge role in recruiting and program organization.
These coaches can help with game stuff. Gameplanning, roster management, who plays and training. Biggest thing they provide is trust. Everyone wants O to stay out of stuff. He has to trust the people he works with in order to do that. He is from Louisiana after all so that blood runs thick and trust is important.
Whether they are the right guys, we shall see. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't but I'm gonna wish and hope like hell they are and even if by luck, they swing us one title. That's all I want right now. Talk about being an elite program , state of the program, where we gonna be after O and all that, give me one title and then I'll think about that stuff waiting for the next one. shite happens in college football and sometimes all it takes is luck, execution at important times, good defense and a hot qb. We could pull it off in any year with our talent and i believe our coaches. Is it probable? Not likely.

I am emotional. Are you emotional? Who isnt emotional?

If anyone needs a shoulder to cry on Coach O is ready and accessible.

Such a feel good piece. .

Enough of the BS, put it on the field next season and produce. That is all that matters to a rightfully disgruntled fanbase. Prove to us that our team has turned the corner to becoming a national power again.

OUCH what a burn! Really creative too. Original and pointed. Tell the truth you had help didn't you? You got all of your 3rd grade buddies to help out, right? No way you could have thought of all of those new lines by yourself.

Tell you what if on the odd chance you ever come up with either a funny line or an original one, just let me know, ok? It doesn't have to be both, just either.

Now can go back to:
Shrimp boat
Derek
Binder
Ogre
Fat Geobbles
Defensive line coach
Ole Miss

And the rest of those wonderful little sayings you guys seem to love.
