Not clear how this should impact one's assessment of Orgeron's competence as a head coach, based on all other data points out there.

I guess because someone has nice things to say about him that we're supposed to believe he's a good coach.

I never said Coach O isn't a great guy to work for. If you stroke/flatter his ego he treats you like gold.

This quote I dont get, is he talking about Tennessee or USC?

That one of the best OL coaches in football came to LSU to coach under O and said he wouldn’t have done it for anyone else? Doesn’t that spit in the face of “all the rats are jumping off the ship! No one wants to work for Coach O!”?

Oh so now gregg is one of the best oline coaches in football? Lol.

Besides, multiple people like, jon chavis, dave aranda came to LSU to work for Les, we still fired his arse. Both have said Les is one of the best coaches they have worked for, still fired his arse.

I cry everyday when I think about him being the coach of LSU.

People who are sleeping on coach O are not very bright people.

don't think it's directly Derek with some of the positive threads but student workers hired by the administration to hype LSU football and spread news in a positive light.

If he's good enough I wouldn't mind seeing Cole Smith start. We'll have our center for the next 3-4 years

Cregg sounds like a good guy and can clearly coach. it was a good pick up and O should get praised for it.

people who think O was unjustly fired at ole miss can barely be classified as human beings and they most certainly pee sitting down.

Yes he did. I believe that's the reason so many folks respond to a Ree post with the cynical tone that we do.

FIFY

But since you are one of the "not very bright people", we expected the mistake.

Perhaps. I'll tell you who also aren't very bright people. People who think o was unjustly fired by Ole Miss and people who think o will be the head coach at LSU for 10 to 20 years.

Yep. We went from respectable to dumpster fire. Coach O has certainly changed the culture.

I also believe this is a ton of coach speak. Cregg would have been back in the college ranks with a good paying job regardless of if it's with O or not.
