I acknowledged and acknowledge a number of those good things. Namely getting Burrow and his concerted effort to modernize the staff by hiring analysts. I also thought and still think Cregg was a great hire.

I stand by my prediction of 8-10 wins this year and my general stance on the future of the program under O. Never thought we would suddenly crash and burn. Quite the opposite, I figured we’d have 2 maybe 3 solid to good years under O before things start to slowly decline because of assistant coach attrition. That said, I predicted a close loss to Auburn, so I was objectively wrong in that sense.

But leave it to “true fans” to get hung up on calling out people who were “wrong” rather than focusing on these major early season victories. Geaux Tigers.

This is precisely my opinion.

we're 3 games in. Yes, 3-0 is great, but our offense is problematic. We've got a lot of tough teams left.

Take a breath and let it all play out.

I'm glad they're showing their true colors. They're more concerned with extracting some kind of revenge or retribution over enjoying the team's success.

That's a two way street. There's been times where someone has voiced a concern over something that has happened with the program since late September of 2016, and the messenger of that post has been ridiculed and insulted by the people that decided to support o no matter what.

BeeFense5 your too stupid to understand what division does to a program even amongst the fan base. If I thought you actually had the intelligence to understand what it does and why it shouldn't be done I would sit here and try and help you understand. But no need to waste time with an idiot!!!

I'll take it a step further Red. There's been seasons where Miles and his teams won more than 9 games a season, and some people melted because we lost to Kentucky. Or we lost to Arkansas. Or we lost to Ole Miss. Or Tennessee. Or we didn't beat a team by a big enough margin. Or Miles ate grass or wore a long sleeve windbreaker during the game when it was hotter than hell. Or some other dumb reason to bitch.

And there has been a bunch of posters on here that acted like kids in a candy store after only winning 9 games last year.

nope. Always lashing out anyone that were anti-O. I got
a lashing on my personal FB saturday night. They just want let it go. They will lash out at me and others that were against the O hire as long as O is the coach at LSU. I deactivated my FB. Wont give those frickers the satisfaction.

I wasn't thrilled with the hire. I went outside and sky screamed for about an hour or so then I climbed on board and started looking at things in an objective manner

I melted a time or two or three. But that’s part of being an LSU fan these days. Sometimes the let down happens.

No reason for this other than serious negativity and saltiness.

Ok flame away!!! But that doesn't mean I am not right here! All I want is what is best for LSU and since we now know our coach is off the hot-seat for 2018 & 2019 "meaning he will be here for both seasons" coming together as a fan base and supporting him will be more helpful for our program when we recruit it is truly that simple. And as everyone knows by now, recruiting is the life blood of the program!

You might want to pump the brakes a bit. We still have a long season ahead of us. I'm tired of the mindset that if you don't support Ed Orgeron then you don't love LSU. One big win does not an entire season make. I'm gonna pull for the Tigers and let the chips fall where they may. If LSU finishes the season no worse than 10-2, then I'm all for giving Orgeron another year (but not a contract extension). If we end up 8-4 or worse, then it means we collapsed down the stretch. I know that won't be enough to fire him, but his seat should be very warm when next season starts.

It’s been well documented that you’re very sensitive.
It’s cool, some people wear their emotions on their sleeves.
Sometimes it’s better to have thick skin.

Remember is just an opinion. No matter how strong your feelings get hurt, you can still love Orgeron.
Doesn’t make you a winner at anything. Doesn’t make anyone a loser who disagrees.

Try to just root for LSU and ignore the opinions you dislike.

I'm ok with any coach winning 9 their first year....whether it be O or one of the other turds we could have hired.

I wasn't ok with Les winning nine at the end of his tenure because he had been here many years, had his guys at OC and DC and had recruited beautifully. There was no excuse not to win 10 each year with the guys he was bringing in and yet he still found ways to creatively squander talent.

#mindboggling

So what's the point of continuously bringing it back up every day? You think that's helping matters?

You guys say you want us all to get along but you go reopening the wounds every day.

I hope your kidding jackass. You brought Troy and State up EVERY SINGLE DAY during the offseason. You fkers beat that dead horse religiously.

Why worry if a few fans don't "support" the coach? If he keeps winning, they will look like idiots. If he starts losing at a fast rate, they will still look like idiots. Time will tell us the rest of the story.

And mine...and I stated it tons of times. Of course, it is always ignored and instead I have to answer idiotic questions like, "Why do you hate LSU?"

I predicted a larger loss to AU though...yet not a blowout or anything. And yup, I was thankfully wrong.

Lets all unite that Alleva has to go, and the next AD can decided our entire coaching staff's future.

One problem here

If O succeeds beyond our expectations and Will Wade continues to impress he would have 2 impressive hires under his belt

If that scenario plays out on what grounds do you believe that Alleva is a problem? Wouldn't that simply mean that everyone was wrong about Alleva?
