Realistically we probably lose at least two more games.

No ones been able to answer this question though

Lots of reading between the lines going on there.

Not much between the lines to read.

Woodward was frank and upfront while still being gentlemanly and diplomatic.

Him saying “the last two years have not met [LSU’s ] standards” is as blunt as I’ve ever seen in one of these letters.

If they have high standards they wouldn't have hired Woodward.

If you actually believe this you either know nothing about the man or you're missing Joe Alleva. Either way you're a dumbass.

I do feel a hint of sadness over all this. Same as I did with Miles even though change was necessary. O (and others) are losing their jobs...I recognize he's being paid handsomely to go away but from the human element that's a low point in someone's life.

2019 was fun. I hated the O hire initially but that said I said alright I was wrong and it was easy to root for the guy. Got fired, didn't get a shot at the USC job but found redemption once he came back home. Ultimately, LSU isn't paying him thst highly to go .500. Combine that with his bachelor's life antics and it was an easy choice.

Thanks for 2019, O. That was a hell of a ride. Geaux Tigahs

If we win out and Auburn loses to two of Bama/OM/aTm/State we go to the SECCG. That’s just a fact.

O's letter seems off. Almost as if he wrote the first 2 paragraphs and LSU wrote the third.

Talented players are not leaving this program because of Orgeron being dismissed.
Should be the opposite. Imagine how exciting to get a new badass coach that brings in badass assistant coaches instead of a head coach that throws assistant coaches and players under the bus? Imagine it being a coach who can legitimately coach and run an offense or a defense and actually not just stand on the sideline clapping and who does nothing but rah rah?

Would be quite refreshing.

What’s that dude’s beef with Woodward?

I'm pretty pissed off. I made a bet when they hired Ed Orgeron that if he ever won a national championship I would eat a live spider.

We won, I ate that frickin spider and then 2 years later I was proven right that he wasn't a good hire.

Both of these messages are professional and well-constructed. LSU seems to be handling this the right way, for a change. I am pleased.

He’s clearly a Joe Alleva lackey or Alleva himself. He melted hard following the UCLA game when everyone started taking about firing him, and started planting seeds about the administration sabotaging him.

A public “amicable” split is best for all parties. Thank you for your service coach.

Also Ed Orgeron's message

Dear LSU community,

I enjoy frickin big tit blonde skanks more than winning SEC & National Titles with the Tigers. I also enjoy allowing their frick trophies to run around wild at practice

Let’s be a little more honest: It’s okay we don’t fire anyone for allowing LSU students and athletes to be abused and sexually harassed, and we sweep all the Title IX violations under the rug, but we fire an unmarried coach for dating women.

Why even bother with that line?

If they are ok with him helping out with recruiting then they probably put a “no compete” in his buyout.
