Agree with earlier posts. Doesn't really matter if its injury, or regression. We're not beating many teams left on our schedule with this offense.

Everyone looks great at the manning passing academy.

But McShay didn’t say he looked great he said he was head and shoulders above the rest. Where is that now?

Why does it have to be one or the other like this is political talk?

Did my comment go bye bye? It was quite an obvious tame joke (especially for this site) regarding how people on this site usually react. Strange. Also, the other point still remains, regardless of if Nuss is hurt or not, his decision-making with the interception and some other passes was extremely poor and his decision-making has been poor in a number of games now this year.

Fair video assessment, but everyone definitively claiming “Nuss is hurt, CBK is a moron, fire Sloan, Start MVB, blah, blah, blah…”

…y’all are fcuking RE-TART-TED. None of you have anything invested into the program that yields tangible returns. I want LSU to win like the next alum, but it’s just a fcuking game.

It’s like everyone forgot the “Jordan Jefferson is the star of the manning passing academy” reports. Also didn’t we hear similar stuff about Brandon Harris as well?

I’ll be honest it really doesn’t matter. If it’s injury or regression it doesn’t make one real difference. Performance has suffered and the team has suffered as a result.

Well it definitely matters. Injuries are limiting and temporary. We are in a bye week, he is getting rest and the backup is getting reps, that offers a lot more promise than simple “regression”.

Nuss has obviously been limited in his range this season. Injuries come in different forms and he may not feel as limited as he can perform. Now, you can say it doesn’t matter in the sense that the offense needs to get better, that’s fair, and maybe that means he sits the bench.

quote:

I think the biggest piece of evidence against him being injured (besides the high fastballs to Aaron anderson) is the fact that he is tanking his draft status and still playing. If he was really injured he’d sit to preserve his stock

I think that is a little silly. And if you didn’t think it mattered if he was hurt or not, would not have tried to make this point.

Why is our coaching genius still playing him. This is beyond idiotic. Next level Les Miles stuff. If van Buren is worse than this crap, Kelly should be fired ASAP. Geezus H!

He acts like he's injured by every hit he takes and he's never had solid throwing mechanics. Nothing new this year

He’s hasn’t played well and has obviously made some poor decisions. That being said, it’s obvious he’s hurt. The ball doesn’t come out the same and that doesn’t have anything to do with why you’re saying.

So Kelly is keeping Nuss in to increase his draft stock at the cost of the team? Wonderful…..

As most of us suspected- it’s worse than Kelly advertised. Also, his brushing off the question was a defensive response because he’s trying to minimize it (with BK) as much as possible. He’s not dishonest, he’s just avoiding the topic. There were at least 3 throws in the ole miss game that are normally td’s. I hope he’s received some needed rest and therapy.

Nuss was hurt last year too when he didn’t want to run

He’s never wanted to run, and that’s irrelevant to a torso muscle injury. If the injury is truly affecting his passing, which seems obvious, this is 100% on Kelly for continuing to put him out there.

Starting QB never wanting to run and make plays that could ultimately win the game makes total sense.
