His dad called the OC? Really?

What a nation of soft men we are raising.

The only way his dad called is if they discussed wanting him to redshirt before the game

The RS concept is an anachronism in today's college game.
Nuss and his dad get this.
Only Ed does not.

And if they did, they probably did not want to burn his RS on meaningless snaps in blowout wins and/or losses.

I know there is a lot of speculation on what actually happened with this entire scenario.

But I think everyone can agree on a couple of points.

1) This has been handled terribly and should not be playing out in public

2) Pirate King is a damn idiot

More importantly does anyone have a guess where Ed my try to attach himself to grab an interim head coach title in the future so gobbles can begin the propaganda machine to make him the full time coach in place now?

I’m guessing FSU

Right when you've convinced yourself we had bottomed out and were on the upswing, Os got another fubar to tell you about.

Yet another mishandled situation by birdbrained Ed Orgeron.

Woodward should fire him.
it’s hilarious every week O does something incredibly stupid. I’ve enjoyed it immensely.

or your hero lied once again in the press conference saying his family wanted him to redshirt. I don’t blame him for calling out that retard O.

EVERYONE watching the game on Saturday knew if LSU could get just one spark at the QB spot in the second half they could have won the game.

So your solution in a close game is to swap to the second string quarterback?

O still being here and making decisions after being fired is the dumbest decision Woodward will ever make.
no it’s awesome watching O out frick himself on a week to week basis. I haven’t laughed at a coach like this in a long time. Thank you Woodward

Does Orgeron understand the meaning of discretion? Wow. What a clown show.

It will completely undermine the man with the rest of the team is the worse part of it. They think he got his chance not through effort. I agree, totally dumb

It’s the same thing that happened last year with Gilbert’s opting out because his “body is hurting”. I understand that Gilbert had issues but all you have to say is that “he’s unavailable”. He could easily say “Nussmeier doesn’t care about his redshirt so we’re going to look at getting him some playing time”

Really think the only way the dad calls is to discuss giving his consent to burn the redshirt at this point in the year. For all we know, they may have already had discussions about wanting to try and redshirt him. Seriously doubt an NFL coach is calling about actual playing time.

This is just more recruiting pile on after a good performance Saturday. Cannot have people thinking LSU is not a dumpster fire. Should Nuss have been put in, yes. Max was playing terrible. Did Dad call, hell no, not at this level, especially knowing the coaches are gone.

O is not exactly the type to lie about this kind of stuff. He is usually just too truthful with the media. If he is lying, the dad could just come out and say it or Nuss. No reason for him to lie. I don't understand your angle.

LSU might be undefeated right now if Myles had started from day 1

When your starter trailed the fricking punter in passing yards at half and only had one good drive on the 2nd half- absolutely. Are you serious with that ridiculous question?
