Ok this is BS. He’s not very good but you can point that out without shitting on his character which you know nothing about.

By all accounts he’s a good kid.

Jayden as a TRUE FRESHMAN in a power 5 conference

61% completion percentage 17 TDs 2INTs

With a higher yards per attempt than nussmeir

Hey, that's cute, Daniels threw half of those TD's to NFL all-pro Brandon Aiyuk.

Nussmeier doesn't have a Brandon Aiyuk. He's got maybe 2 guys that will even make NFL rosters.

Complete opposite. I was thinking about this the other day.

What were Jayden's junior year stats?

Convenient you left out that their coach was fired, everyone on the team quit, it was as bad as Orgeron's last season or worse there his Junior year.

Nuss needs to get his Daddy to hire him one of these QB gurus this summer that can teach him proper footwork if he plans on staying another year.He needs to learn how to step up in the pocket and slide side to side in the pocket. All he does now is go backwards or run towards the edge of the field and throw off his back foot.

I’m sure that’s why he keeps throwing the ball to the wrong team

You were frustrated when JD5 wouldn’t throw it but guess what he was doing in those moments? Protecting the football.
Nuss throws interceptions. Oh and added fumbling to his repertoire. These comparisons aren’t even close when it comes to being a detriment to his team and their chances of winning.

Sometimes I don't even think Nuss looks before he throws. He just expects the WR to be open regardless of coverage.

Both JD and Burrow were major assets to the team their first years here. Their stats may not have portrayed them as world beaters but both had lots of dropped passes, poor blocking and an overall mediocre team around them. Burrow threw the ball away a ton of times in 18 because of pressure which killed his stats . In 19 I think his biggest change was not throwing the ball away as to keep his completion percentage up along with the WR's going through a huge transformation in how they caught the ball. Nuss is a decent college QB that can run the offence but doesnt have touch on the long ball and makes poor decisions too often.

Nuss can run a 40 in about 4.8 seconds. There’s no reason he can’t pick up some easy yards with his legs, he just chooses not to. He has more speed than Burrow has. Burrow was just smarter about taking what the defense gave him

Nuss is done. He is what he is. Players aren't ever the same after a stretch like Nuss has had. Lee never regained his confidence in pressure situations. Nuss throws off his back foot. He panics and just throws the ball up for grabs. He's a backup at this point. Problem is, we don't have another potential #1 qb who can replace him.

This isn’t year 1 for Nuss.

Both JD5 and Burrow were older than him. Daniels started multiple years at AZ St. you cannot replace experience. It is something that cannot be done.

JD, same as with Burrow, got better as the season went on. Nuss is getting worse.

This isn't really true, JD and Burrow had some atrocious games in October and November of their first years.

Conversely, with Nuss, I don't really think he's getting worse, the competition is just better and there's more film on him now.

I think the jump JD made between his first and second year on campus made everyone forget just how far away from being a playoff caliber team LSU was. We weren't supposed to be as competitive last year as we were and it caused inflated expectations for this season. This roster was never playoff level good. It was never going to be playoff level good 3 years in and we knew that from the beginning. We just got big eyed after last season

Nuss appears that he’s scared to get hit. He refuses to run, and unloads the ball so he won’t get hit even if the receiver isn’t open. He’s playing not to get hurt, not to win.

Its not that he's getting worse.

Its other teams figuring out we are no threat to run. So his windows are getting tighter.

On top of that, when he does turn the ball over, its literally at the worst possible time and situation.

Its one thing to throw an INT 40 yards down field. But to fumble the ball after your struggling defense gets a big 4th down stop is just a gut punch

Nuss sucks. End of story.

Feasted on the shitty non-SEC teams, has looked like complete arse against actual competition.
