It happened. Go rewatch it. Everyone saw it. Daniels is looking back towards the LOS and never saw the ball. The sun was clearly in his eyes.

You conveniently left out a couple long throws. Wonder why.

So why Iam I shitting on him if I say it? You sound like a lunatic
Because you conveniently ignored the context that Nuss hit a deep TD pass in the same game and another that set up the winning TD in the previous game. That’s the sign of someone manipulating events to fit a particular narrative.

You will notice how in his claim of 2 pick sixes, that he amazingly left off crediting any additional yards or TDs Nuss should have had from penalties, missed penalties, dropped passes, slips, and missed blocks. I mean if we're going to include things that didnt happen, and all
I wonder why

The numbers bear that out pretty clearly
Where are his QB rating and ypa?
Last week they were like top 1/3 and in the middle
Saying he's fine is fine for those rankings. It's not an insult
I said last night he's a mid-1st to mid-2nd QB

It looked like Nuss didn’t see the safety and threw the ball middle. Daniels was tracking but the safety came over and bumped him, slowing him down a tic. I don’t think he quit on it but he was slowed down.
I don’t think he “quit” on the route either. But the bump and possible difficulty tracking the ball looking back into the sun definitely affected him. He slowed up at the end but didn’t seem to know where the ball was.

love how you cap that number and leave out the deep TD that he did throw.

Being “fine” doesn’t get you drafted in the first or second round. But keep on rolling with that.

He is that high up in stats because our run game is poor.
Wouldn’t that make it harder to throw the ball? What you’re saying doesn’t make any sense.

Misread it. My mistake.

He has great arm talent and his mechanical issues should be easy to coach our of him by real coaches.
His stats will be good enough to pair with that.
If volume stats got you drafted, lots of Leach guys would have gone in the first and JJ McCarthy would have been drafted in the 4th

This is a little misleading. He is that high up in stats because our run game is poor. Fortunately he has been able to make that up. I am a big Nuss fan and hope he wins a Heisman. But his ypa is mediocre at about 7.5.
Burrow in 2018 threw for 7.6 ypa, 2019 10.9 ypa. That was with a 1400 yard rusher. Get any kind of run game going and those passes over the intermediate/deep middle will open up.

Nuss is a dog and a great representation of LSU. Guy has a bright future even after football. Smart guy. Garners respect from his guys. He’s a leader.

Aside from a deep ball or two, the only pass that he needed to be more consistent on was the one to Anderson late in the USC game. I think he might say the same

This is so funny to watch this clown melt more and more as Nuss continues to get better. He can't help himself.

The kid definitely has an amazing arm and great location when he’s not pressured. I really wish they would teach him how to step up in the pocket or to read the hot route better. He has a tendency to drift back and throw off of his back foot when he’s pressured.

Agree wholeheartedly. All my dumbass DV's think I am dissing on Nuss. Our problem is we are one dimensional and Nuss is it. His YPA will increase if the run game improves.
He is #1 and #2 in those categories in the OP because he has to be because we got little else.
