Well nobody is throwing around football money in baseball. Might as well dominate baseball.

When we have sucked the last 2 football seasons you really want to kick the door out running in recruiting. Why do some of y’all make excuses Instead of getting upset. We need to do better

It. Is. June!!!!!!!!!! Ffs this class won’t be on campus until probably may of next year. It’s remarkably early. Have you looked at the recruiting rankings right now? My god you people are overreacting.

We aren’t freaking out because the CB’s and peoples predictions have us signing 19-20 4 stars and 9-10 of them being offensive and defensive line players.

Good enough for 5-9 rankings in the past 5 recruiting cycles AND this staff has just begun to establish their footing in LA. It’s only going to get better from here on out.

Also, we didn’t suck in 2020 and 2021 due to recruiting. That was the HC and his some very questionable hires and decisions.

Here’s the thing:
We know Bama will have a top 5 class no matter what
Oregon will pay top dollar for a good recruiting class
Miami is dropping millions on recruits
Oklahoma will pay
A&M throws more money than anyone at recruits

What about LSU? Our boosters aren’t throwing millions at recruits. The top players in state are leaving for big deals with rival schools

Baseball has a lot of support from former baseball players. You have a ton of former players who are very successful and willing to support the program in an effort to return it to glory.

No, baseball is not as competitive as football on NIL. Most programs take a loss running their baseball programs. They don't care to spend money there like LSU. Pretty simple really.

Football is slow because it's more competitive in bid wars right now as you can see by the ridiculous multi million NIL deals being floated around. It's just going to take LSU longer to get moving here. It will settle at some point. Backup plan is always to slay the portal but it's probably not going to be necessary by the end of this class. I can't even imagine what the portal will look like with all these publicized NIL deals.

Really? Where are you getting this? The NIL money should be used on players we REALLY want. I don’t think we are there yet. IMO it’s too early in the process to commit lots of money to kids that still have another HS season to play. Our competition can’t lock down more players than the league allows. They can get commitments that are loose right now. If NIL is really their only consideration then we will get a shot to steal them later.
