Position makes a difference. We're stacked a CB an losing 1 wouldn't hurt.

Losing your future QB..with no one else to do the job..that's a whole different animal.

How much shite did Perriloux have to do before he was finally kicked off? No way would be kicked off for this.

One thing too many. You act like Cliff Harris has a spotless record, I don't know that the run ins people have been bringing up have been since his time with joining the Ducks or before, but if they are since, he'd be kicked the F off.

He's a freaking AA CB...

Would you have kicked PP off the team for speeding - even with a suspended license?

It shouldn't take sarcasm font when I said what's our cb going to do for us when you throw 15 times. Since the inception of any Oregon/LSU discussion, everyone on this board believes that LSU will run the ball and run the ball more. So, when I said, "what good is our cover corner when you are going to throw 15 times," the sarcasm font shouldn't be needed. If Harris is making an impact on the game, it will be because of ints are kick returns. If Harris is making ints and fielding punts, no good for LSU.

He was in high school and was incident free as a Duck until now. This is the first anyone has heard of a suspended license.

Most of you are looking at it the wrong way...he is supposed to be a leader, his is an All American, he is an upprclassman, etc

Kelly has to come down on him hard for a bunch of reasons, the most important being teh entire team needs to be aware that no matter who you are, bad decisions will NOT be tolerated.

I read on another post that another car/cars were cited. So I think they were actually racing! ANyone else hear this?

LSUsaint, another 21 year old male was cited the same day. Then someone made a far reaching assumption that they were drag racing. It was not a logical deduction.

Oregon DB Cliff Harris arrested

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7thWard, that is dumb. If you read Moseley, they cited others going over 100+ that very same day. The officer said, "it shows what it going on out there." Also, the other cited was a 21 year old male. He is not the only one.

The post above is the one I was referencing about what the cop said and maybe racing being involved.....

Plus one. Just don't let him drive for about five years.

Wasn't my deduction, read what the cop said. What do you "deduct" out of that?

Sounds like some sort of competition to me

Two seperate and unrelated citations. The officer is saying that speeding is rampant, even at high speeds.

Where Cliff was cited is one of the longest straightaway stretches of freeway in Oregon. Over on addictedtoquack.com they diagram it and are sharing stories.

You said would I kick them off the team. I don't think CH should be kicked off UO's team, but I do think he shouldn't play a few games(1~2). That I would do to PP7.

No, this is what I asked:

1 game...maybe. If he does sit him, then I would be surprised.

Nah man, speeding is barely a crime. As someone who occasionally gets my car up to 107 mph (electronically limited) in long empty stretches of central/north LA, I would be offended if this kid lost playing time due to speeding.

Driving under a suspended will get you 10 days in jail here in Alaska. Speeding isn't his most serious issue here. Not sure what Oregon law is, but speeding is the least of his worries.

Roger, he was cited for a $1500 ticket and left to go. There will be no jail time. It isn't even a midemeanor infraction.
