Isn't 30mph over the speed limit a felony?
No.
IMO, it was a dumb mistake. Personally, I would rather he play. No sarcasm here, just want a good football game.

I read that it was a rental car too. What company rents a car out to a 20 year old with a suspended license? Actually, who's name is the car under?

and no insurance in the last two years
118 in a 65 with no context of whether it was in a city limits, or what the conditions were is hard for me to really give a damn. If he was going 73 through a school zone, I'd say slap him in irons.
Okay, now no insurance is a big no-no in my book.

Yup. He's basically like every other coach.

Cliff is very fast. They say, "Water covers 70% of the Earth, Cliff covers the rest." So, he thought he saw a pass he could intercept. No big deal.
He isn't a big time run stopper, but he is a big time ball hawker and pass breaker upper, to coin a phrase. If you aren't passing, we have bigger CB's who will help more and we won't drop off too much in coverage, but Cliff is one of the wiliest and best pass coverage CB's I've seen. So when you have 3rd and long, you will see Cliff. His penalty will be that he can't play when it's 3rd and short. He's gonna play a lot.

LOL, Fred Smoot used to say that when he was at Miss St. At least come up with something new.

Cliff is very fast.
2011 — Clocked 4.79 seconds in the electronic 40-yard (third amongst defensive backs) during winter conditioning.
Oh he fast alright...

Yeah, this was covered already. Dior Mathis ran the fastest DB time that day at 4.74. He had a florida offer and was a 100 meter champ in Michigan and considered to have elite speed. Cliff was .05 behind him.

Yeah, I know its been covered, I think I was the first to post it here.
Regarding your point..."an offer from Florida", "100 meter champ in Midwest", "Cliff was .05 behind him". Are you serious???
So you telling me you don't have a DB that is faster than a 4.74 40?

IIRC they ran that is cold rain with 20 mph wind.
Now don't get me started on walking to school barefoot in the snow, uphill on the way there and back when I was a yungin

But now his All American CB has been caught doing 118 in a 65, 53 MPH's over the limit, with an already suspended license.
I can tell you the shite hit the fan for me a long time ago when I did LESS than that.
I can tell you they didn't let me go unpunished... for a lesser infraction. At least I had a license... well... not much longer after... but I did at the time.

At this point, I don't even care. The story is getting worse.

Guarantee you he plays at least 3 quarters
Chip will pull an Urban Meyers and suspend him for the first snap. He'll be in the 2nd play.

Obviously it would hurt. However, it's not the end of the world.

Any word on how he plans to pay for it without a job?
Chip Kelly... duh!
