Now that this is likely over, this is how I want it to play out

-LSU wins the SECCG
-Sankey has to give Lane the trophy and Lane quips, "I know how uncomfortable this is for you"
-LSU celebrates and leaves the trophy in the locker room in Atlanta
Alternate endings:
-Dunk the trophy on the sideline goal
-Drop the trophy in a trashcan on the way out
-Sankey has to give Lane the trophy and Lane quips, "I know how uncomfortable this is for you"
-LSU celebrates and leaves the trophy in the locker room in Atlanta

-Drop the trophy in a trashcan on the way out

It’s not over. The SEC shifted their goalposts yesterday.

Adding Anding and Reliford ends the roster argument so it's hard for the SEC to make any argument. If they coontinue down this path, public sentiment will shift heavily towards Lane and LSU.

They are going to try and fine/suspend coaches for this LOIC nonsense. This isn’t over by a long shot.

I agree with you that it’s likely over. I don’t think LSU will be allowed to win the SECCG. Birmingham will not allow that to happen. So we’re just gonna have to get a bid to the CFP and win the whole damn thing.

LSU isn't rostering Wright and Harris, so they conceded there. But the SEC is going after LSU for recruiting Wright & Harris because they were pro's. Then added a "Lost institutional Control" against LSU because of what Lane said at half-time. So they go after LSU for things detrimental to the SEC and want to now see if they have authority to expel.
They won't expel, but they can hold that over LSU as leverage and any other school as leverage. They want to know if they have that power just like the schools all voted way back to give the commissioner full latitude to levy punishment and fines.
The latter is what will happen. Sankey will punish LSU. I'm sure Bama & Texas really like this idea since we have to play them.

Didn’t dellinger post that the SEC is no longer scheduled to vote to expel LSU?

I want the SEC to fire Sankey this week. That's how I want this to play out. We can't coexist in the SEC with that shite head any more.

This situation isn't done. SEC in their amendment stated "We want to expel LSU whether or not they play those players." Adding 2 players to prevent those 2 from coming doesn't change that. You are kidding yourself. This wasn't about those 2 players. That was the straw.
They didn't like us hiring Lane or Will Wade, Didn't like us firing Woodward, Didn't like us having the Gov's mansion meeting about the private equity, didn't like the Govs comments in October, didn't like us giving Wade Rouse the President spot when he was not fully qualified by our qualifications, and didn't like this situation.
You're operating with Purple and Gold goggles. Situation isn't close to being done.

My best case scenario is:
The Judge in Baton Rouge who enjoined the SEC from dictating punishment against the players in question, views the SEC's Amended Law Suit as an end run, sees it for what it is, a violation of the Injunction. Has Sankey arrested for Contempt of Court when he shows up for the hearing in Alabama today. Has him perp walked out the front door, in front of the media and jailed in Baton Rouge lock-up in general population.
Oh, and conveniently the Judge just happens to be out of town until Monday.

Never mind that Ole Miss did it too.
Had they chosen to go back, you’d have never heard a word about this. This is all being driven by Ole Miss with sand in their vagina over losing Lane. And the likes of Bama, Georgia and Tennessee, seeing an opportunity, are egging it on.

If the presidents had any balls they’d fire Sankey at the vote for being such a pussy embarrassment.

Everything changed when they started to make a “lack of institutional control” argument. Might not get the expelled but they ain’t leaving without their pint of blood and a pound of flesh.

Sankey may call for a public execution of Kiffin if this happens.

Sankey is going to do everything he can at this point.
Posted on 9/9/26 at 9:05 am to BayouCowboy
Add in a “frick you Sankey” chant from the fans while Sankey hands the trophy over to Lane Kiffin and you really couldn’t script it any better than that
