Now that the SEC was embarrassed by LSU, watch out for retaliation

I think there will be retaliation through officiating in big SEC games this year involving LSU similar to the Patrick Peterson int vs Bama. I hope Lane puts his foot on the gas so the calls wont decide the games

We already expected that.

New take that no one has thought of.

Replay won’t allow calls like the PP7 call, but watch out for holding and pass interference

Yellow Sankey’s will be flying.

They literally replayed this and still didn’t overturn it…

You could be right, but I don’t remember them having the replay system back then that they have in place now

It’s a much different more connected world now. That call would be viewed 10s of millions of times now.

They absolutely did

While I think there will definitely be a few more penalties thrown our way, I don’t think that it will be to the extent that some think. There’s a microscope on the conference due to all this BS and the media etc will be quick to call the conference out if anything is fishy.
However, there’s one way to mitigate the impact of officiating….curb stomp every damn team and don’t let the foot off the gas. That way, a bad or missed call here and there won’t impact the outcome of the game.

Go to you tube. I just watched it.

The operations weren’t the same, but they had replay.
The biggest thing that came out of this game was the information that the replay booth did not have HDTVs.

I get it. I just think technology has changed since 2009 and that call could not be made today.

Of course. Look what the Big 10 just did for Michigan. They don’t care how things look. We’re about to get fricked big time and our chances won’t be good in any close game because of that.

Well, your initial premise is false, so...
The SEC is being childish but LSU didn't embarrass them.

Maybe maybe not
There is still concerns about collusion and selective enforcement and the SEC still hasn’t officially dropped the lawsuit against LK and LSU
Obviously egregious officiating could look really bad for the SEC and it is possible that the officiating is actually fair.

I always laugh at this notion. When they decide to rig the games, and they do often, there is NOTHING you can do. You can call the perfect play, execute it, and they will screw you over and over. All it takes is one or two key calls to turn an entire game and the SEC knows this.
Hell Auburn 2006 is the perfect example of this. People still try and excuse that blatant fix job that day by saying "well Miles put the brakes on offense". LOL. No. Every big play LSU had was called back. LSU was the victim of as many as 4-5 blatant DPI calls that cost points at least twice (Two in the EZ on perfect passes). Each time LSU ended up being flagged out of FG range.
Point is, if they determine you are losing, you can play perfectly and it won't matter.

Not even a full week ago we saw the BIG10 use review to make a bullshite call.
This isn't out of the realm of possibility

Won’t matter when we are already up 3 TDs.
