I think there will be retaliation through officiating in big SEC games this year involving LSU

You guys who think this should just not watch a game this year. If you think anything remotely close to this was said or asked, then I have oceanfront property in Oklahoma for you. That is illegal and would land multiple people in jail.

Let me guess… for any penalty we get from now on, we’re going to blame Sankey. Am I right?

I don’t think they are that embarrassed. I think the SEC has done a good job of spinning this as “LSU backed down.“ That is not true, but it’s what they are convincing everyone.

Such would serve as more proof of the SEC's perfidy to a candid world, but I am sure that they care not.

Its a concern for sure but honestly the best teams don't have close games. If you don't have close games then it shouldn't be an issue.

I hope LSU retaliates on the field. Meaning, there should be NO brakes all season. Up by 30 in the 4th. Who cares? Go for 2. Leading by 40 with the backups in with 2:00 to go? I don't give a damn. Go deep to make it 48.

If the league is going to paint LSU as the villain, then embrace it fully and without apologies. First, win the game. But if that is secure then run it up. There should literally be no margin of victory that is too much against SEC teams this season.
