In their opener? No one looked better, and in my opinion, no one looked like they could beat us, with the possible exception of UGa.

I feel like I've seen this thread a lot. Maybe I need more sleep.

UG gave up a lot of big plays and turned the ball over too much, aTm played a really bad team, but they looked smooth doing it, BAMA looked like they will continue their methodical routine of playing for 60 minutes and downplaying any success. Florida looked the most vulnerable but they still have a lot of talent.

LSU did not look like a team that is playing a lot of underclassmen with limited or no SEC playing time...thats what is so impressive, red zone issues and special teams breakdowns will get resolved.

ACCS looked pretty good..

Even though part of the game, and every team could say something similar. I agree with you. Take a fumble and ko return away, big diff in score and "feeling"..

red zone issues

I didn't really feel like there were any red zone "issues". I would just give more credit to TCU playing great defense. On the first 2 possessions of the game Mett made great throws to guys in the end zone and the TCU defenders made good plays to knock the ball out of the WRs hand (couple of them may have been pass interference, but that's irrelevant since they didn't call it). Point is, Mett looked comfortable throwing the ball in the end zone, so we will be fine.

I'm not going to go nuts about this issue after one game.

He showed off the gun one time chunking it in the seats. . Point is, he made a good decision and looked good doing it..

I don't think they will. But the OP is kidding himself if he doesn't realize that statement is true.

Do you have any idea that several of A&M's defensive starters were suspended from the game against Rice?

Anyone who thinks that Bama team looked good is kidding themselves.

And aTm's 2s on the defensive interior and their starting DBs looked bad vs Rice. Really bad.

The only team I really worry about each year, is Bama.....and I think their offense looked a little suspect. With the exception of a few good pass plays, their offense managed a mediocre 250+/- yards, with <100 yards rushing. Im feeling pretty good about this season, but I am also quite sure that aTm and bammer will give us a run for our money.

Far too soon to say any of this.

I think it's fair to say that Bama's OL is the weakest it has been in years.

Otis teams tend to improve as season goes.
Your better than this.

Or you could say Bama played poorly on offense and still won by 25 points. They scored in every facet of the game.

I do like the fact they didn't look invincible Saturday. I feel better about the game with them at the moment. For some reason though I think they absolutely destroy A&M next week.
