EDIT: regardless of the roster, we still have the SEC with a federal case against us. Insane

It is, because there are two spots for them for when the courts do the right thing and allow them to play.

You'll probably get down voted for this, but I agree. It's not worth the trouble, negative press and ill will in the conference.

I mean hell at this point they might get a 6th year. The ncaa/sec f’ed up their new found eligibility for this season.

I'm not worried about the negative press....they can still all go to hell. It was the players that fought for this anyway not LSU. That would atill make me appreciate that a coach would go through this to help them. That's what they will remember. If they are still enrolled and go through the legal process and they're working out and getting healthy, they might be able to add them later if they chose to.

Can LSU still be punished or sued by the SEC going forward? Or by the two players they didn't roster?

Nah playoff committee (tv networks) would easily put LSU in for the ratings
