Jay is coaching these midweek games like we're still in good shape on the season. He's predetermined who is going to pitch and for how long.
Maybe we should think about letting some guys throw 2-3 innings who won't be pitching Friday.

Honestly, I forgot there were 2 outs. No way we get a 2 out hit to score Brown, so it was probably the right move.
