Just looks different. Seems lost in space. Even his throws from the outfield are weak

Yeah, something is for sure up with him. He’s horrible right now, completely different player.

Then sit him because he isn't helping you.

Dude is in a slump. It sucks that it's happening now, but he doesn't have to be hurt to be struggling at the plate.

He sure has grown an affinity for sweeping at low pitches in the dirt. Maybe flailing is a better word.

I’ve heard it all now. Y’all actually want to sit Cabrera. Unless he is indeed seriously hurt and playing through it, who would you like to play for Cabrera?

This was what I thought of watching him at the plate. Either he is banged up or this slump had gotten deep into his head.

I mean, it's his wrist, so he can play through a lot of it and you wouldn't notice, but it's definitely affecting his swings.

DiGiacomo has started games in the OF for us, he would be the natural replacement.

I'm not saying Cabrera definitely needs to sit, but I don't think he's healthy. I do know that I'd much rather him healthy next weekend than have him keep playing right now.

I think youre right. Easily the worst I have seen him since he has been at LSU. Everyone has been getting on Mathis about the loss last night but I think Cabrera was a bigger factor. There were people in scoring position almost every time he came up last night and he went o fer.

If he is indeed injured to the point that it's hurting his production this much, then yes sit him and let him get healthy. Regionals are more important than this tournament. He's giving you nothing right now.

You could easily put Digiacomo into that spot.

Why are we trying to push the loss off on individual players?
