No Penalties. None.

Rousse, Verge, etc who I know are reading this right now: LSU nation would rather fight than accept any penalties, especially knowing they would only be imposed as an effort to prevent us from inevitably winning the SEC and the natty.
We violated zero rules.
Sure we’ll get on board with the new rules in place. But there is to be no retroactive penalties. We won’t accept them.

I’d be shocked if we didn’t get any sanctions. With what Sankey has done and acted so far it’s very likely.
There shouldn’t be any, but that’s not how I think it will play out.

Sankey may be hurt enough to give LSU a choice…penalties & CLK suspension vs having another president meeting next week to kick LSU out of conference. Pick.

What the actual frick would we even get sanctioned or penalized for?

I would be shocked if they did.
Absolutely no reason for it. Especially at this point.

I choose this one

I understand they might try to, but I wouldn’t accept them. We violated no rules. I would cite “bad precedent” if sanctions are placed for a team that has violated no rules and merely stroked the cat’s fur the wrong way

I pick the meeting

So we would leave the conference? We would have to accept them

It's not hurt feelings. It's calling Sankey to put up or get fricked. He doesn't have the votes to boot LSU. It's a preposterous, empty threat.

The only thing I can think they'll try to get Lane on is instigating the Ole Miss players to sue the SEC.
Assuming Lane did anything, it was before the SEC was part of it. It also was a suit before they joined.

I suggest Sankey get some penalties for not knowing the 5 for 5 rule or the definition of a professional athlete.

This would be the only choice

Dude just stop already
I'd be shocked if you had a 60 iq. Why are you panicking before anything happens. Grow a pair

No one can answer this question. Especially all the morons claiming we get sanctions or penalizations.

You probably thought “we’re screwed” after the interception on the second play of the game.

Hey listen thru no fault of my own I've come to terms that were in a conference that selectively enforces its rules.
If theres a player that is considered ineligible by the ncaa to play and he is currently playing under a TRO in this conference then we dont accept ANY penalty for our coach pursuing the exact same means of gaining that player eligibility.
We broke no rules, and in fact the SEC itself is in violation of a court order as we discuss it. The commissioner himself had a chance to argue his case in said court room.
If this conference would penalize us for thinking about playing these players while allowing several others to roster them then LSU needs to do what's best for itself, not the conference that feeds us shite and tells us its steak.
