Would only be agreeable to the same penalties levied against Coach Oates for playing a pro player.

I’m not panicking at all. I’m just saying what I think will happen and it’s based off evidence.

The penalty should be against the SEC. LSU should leave.

I did not. I understand that for as long as I've been a fan of LSU football I've carried a certain pride knowing we played in the best conference against the best competition and any level of success weve earned and enjoyed has been made a little shinier due to that.

I no longer feel that the SEC is a good place for us if theyre willing to go nuclear on us for doing what others have done/are doing. I imagine thats a tough pill for any of us to swallow.

But im down for whatever. If we stay, we stay and beat the holy frick out of these people for their transgressions. If they try to impose bullshite on us like a 6 game suspension for our coach doing what other coaches have done/what we hired him to do let's take our show on the frickin road.

Why is everyone forgetting that multiple schools went after these same kids we went after? They would have to punish 3 or 4 teams. Not to mention the ones who signed basketball players and other football players.

There’s not going to be anything. If it happens again, that would be different.

Rousse, Verge, etc who I know are reading this right now: LSU nation would rather fight than accept any penalties, especially knowing they would only be imposed as an effort to prevent us from inevitably winning the SEC and the natty.

So you speak for the donors, local business leaders, TAF, etc who all have more skin in the game than you? Not to mention LSU itself, regarding the financial impact that could occur from going to war.

Who knows if the presidents and Sankey try to impose penalties or just a sanction us in some way. Maybe we skate since no rules were actually broken. WTF knows at this point.

Sankey may be hurt enough to give LSU a choice…penalties & CLK suspension vs having another president meeting next week to kick LSU out of conference. Pick.

Then we go to the mattresses.

LSU did nothing wrong. If they try to hand down penalties to a school that violated zero rules, especially when other teams did the same, and even went further, they are fricked. Royally fricked. They know that. That’s why this is coming to a standstill.
