Don't disagree...just that I don't think it's black and white. There are NO DOUBT posters opening up alter accounts and straight up false accounts being created over the past 18 months for the only reason to flak for Orgeron. Those guys are Orgeron over LSU I think.
The others? They're LSU fans, but they allow other things to blind them to what most of us see. Whether it's the Louisiana ties, that they campaigned to get rid of Miles so hard that they're stuck defending him, or maybe they're just dumb.
Your call, obviously...I'm just hesitant to blanketly do that because I got lumped into a category like that when it was 100% false it is only emboldened me to argue even more.

Just wait til Coach Oeaux and Steve Ensminger begin their Shock The World tour on September 2 in Arlington...and it won't end til they're brandishing the trophy next January!

Full disclosure: I wanted Tom Herman. This is what I see in Orgeron's past and present:
(1) OM years: great recruiter and bad coach with terrible record.
(2) USC interim year: rallied the team. Good win. Better than OM days.
(3) LSU interim year: rallied team. Should have beaten FL. Killed Louisville. Showed potential. Better than he was at OM and maybe better than at USC.
(4) LSU first full year. Missed opportunities. Troy should never have happened. Good job of fortifying lines with recruits. Disappointing overall recruit rank, but we will see if line carries the team going forward.
(5) This year: recruiting looks promising-- needs to seal the deal. Better improve on record and cannot lose to "patsies" and needs to win at least 1/2 games we are not expected to win. Absent a total flop, he will get him one more year, like it or not.

No, I understand what you are saying. And the difference is, even the ones who are LSU fans but are “blind to what the rest of us see” can still admit Orgerons past failures. My beef is not with them. I’m talking strictly about those on here who pump Orgeron like he’s the next messiah and can not admit any fault on him. They blatantly make up claims in order to defend him. It’s ridiculous.
