It’s because they are not LSU fans. They are Orgeron fans. They want LSU to fail except when Orgeron is the head coach because that just proves that Orgeron is the GOAT and that LSU just sucks unless it has Orgeron as the head coach.

You laugh because you know it won’t happen with Ed O as head coach. If we had a real head coach, it would be easily obtainable.
9 win seasons are the pinnacle for Ed O. He is incapable of doing better. Any decent coach could take this team to a national championship.

Nah...let's not do that. I say that as a guy who had that thrown at them more times than I'd like to count because I supported the guy who had the greatest run in LSU's history. And while I liked Miles, I was an LSU fan before Les Miles was anything but a grad assistant at Michigan.
Now...each and every one of these accounts that have been started in the past 18 months whose entire purpose here is to flak for Orgeron on this and the Recruiting board, yeah...complete shills that have no interest at all in the program at large and those idiots need to be pointed at so that posters can be aware of the propaganda machine hard at work.
Everyone else who's been very Pro-Orgeron I think are just wrong...but they're no doubt fans of LSU first. For many, there is a sense having to defend him because they were in the "anyone but Miles" camp and they are now having to defend a lesser coach. Some are obviously in the "he's one of us" camp, and there's not much you can do with that subset. and then there are those who, for whatever reason, really do think this guy is the answer we've been looking for.

Here’s the difference. Les earned the support of those that were still devoted to him.
Orgeron has not. If he was from any other state, they would not be this supportive of him.
