The schedule is difficult but not historically difficult. The SEC is loaded with really good coaches now so the schedule is going to be really difficult from here on out. A difficult schedule cannot be used as an excuse.

LSU Fans/Alums/Boosters are fed up with excuses. The guy has this coming season and most likely one more to get LSU back "in the hunt." That's it.

I’m not ignoring anything. 247 has us as the 9th most difficult schedule this year. Here’s our SOS for the previous 7 years:

2017: 27 LOL
2016: 4
2015: 5
2014: 7
2013: 11
2012: 11
2011: 1

I hate to break it to you but odds are he won't get us there.

Look at all these so-called tiger fans that don’t think we are good enough to win 10 games.

I agree, but all we can do is hope for the best.

It’s like they have battered wife syndrome.

It is a completely valid "excuse" that LSU has an historically difficult schedule this year.

The team could be much improved from last year and still only win 9 games.

Some of you are getting really nervous.

I expect these type of posts to only increase in frequency as September approaches.

I'm going to approach it on a week to week basis and keep rooting for 10+ wins until it's no longer possible.

And yet LSU couldn’t capitalize more on the worse I’ve seen the SEC in a decade. (These past two seasons)

It’s only going to get tougher moving forward.. so if he can’t crack 10 wins there’s no point. It’s supppse to be a challenging schedule.

I’m not concerned about Miami. And LSU at least gets Georgia at home. Aside from that it’s our typical schedule.

I bet he gets his 5 years unless he has a losing record. Besides firing a coach after 2 season a more damaging to the program than keeping him, recruiting will take a hit too.

Now that Meyer might be available they are panicking.

Meyer could compete for the SECC this year at LSU and they fricking know it. Their boy Orgeron, they don’t have so much faith in but can’t stand to admit it.

It’s really odd. As confident they are that Orgeron is the man for the job, they don’t think he can win 10 games.

I think he's special because he confuses facts with opinions, thinks he has some sort of power though this message board, and talks about thousands of dimes.

He needs to improve this year but the drunk OP is just throwing out raw meet for the negative. Low info stuff

If this is true, LA Tech might actually become the new state flagship until LSU has a new HC.

Not kidding.

Now I know you don't give any dimes. You don't even understand what a state flagship school is.
