I don’t know how this translates to wins and losses but I feel a thousand percent better today than prior to the FSU game.
You can see the coaching playing out on the field. This weeks problem is not allowed to persist into the next, it is addressed. Not shy about playing different guys to give us a chance.
I was wrong about JD, he has improved every day and has given me confidence in this offense.
Can’t wait to see the season play out because we will get better every week, because we now have good coaches with buy in from good young men.

We are getting better and better each week at every position. Center, Wide outs, D-backs, running backs and most importantly the QB position.

We should be rocking when Tennessee comes to town.

I beg to differ, they have improved and are being coached up. Are they great, no but they are way better today than two weeks ago.

Not just week to week; it’s half to half also.

The kicker situation is a problem, but there’s not much that can be done there beyond trying someone else or hoping someone gets hot.

Most of the return penalties other than the BS blindside block were after the backups went in later in the game. The kick returner situation has been dealt with. We’ll see if they’ve improved coverage teams vs a team with a pulse this weekend.

My point- ST did improve a little bit. That should continue with Kelly focused on it.

I am still worried about Center. Kelly brought it up today that our guy is going to have to step it up moving forward with SEC guys in front of him. Said the two big guards are helping him.

A good SEC NT or DT is going to push him around.

I think the coaches have now developed a passing attack around what Daniels does best and away from what his weaknesses are. More predetermined quick passes. Even Nuss looked good with that approach. This more so than Daniels drastically improving week to week. And that is what good coaching does. There are also good coaches on the other team who will gameplan to our adjustment. That is when we will see if Daniels has improved his vision and reads.

The defense appears to be on the right path for sure. The next couple weeks should be interesting with elevated competition.

The essentially have a new roster after last year’s mass exodus so it seems reasonable they need time to figure things out. Still boggles my mind why we didn’t at least attempt to move Southern game to Week 0

Two variables you can hang your hat on as a Tiger fan is we get stronger through 4 quarters and each game the team improves fundamentally and schematically.

One glaring issue is the passing game is limited for a couple reasons. The OLine struggles with consistency. The QB is working to improve as a passer but is struggling with anticipation. Now, part of that is play calling while most of it QB/WR cohesion.

This is one of those seasons where wins and losses won't matter as much as the improvement from week to week.

The team is improving but it is still has a long way to go before we can say this is a good team

Yeah. CBK is not making friends with his guys. He is holding them to account. The formula is simple. Play the best performer. It's nothing personal.

I think we will mostly all be happy as long as we continue to see the progression of the team as the year goes on. It's a 2-3 year fix to me.

The detailed coaching is paying off week to week. This is why we will eventually be back in the hunt for a championship.
