Nikki Fargas Contract Extension.....back on LSU Board Agenda

Time to go on record. I understand the whole "stability" concept of extensions, but there no value to a stable ship at the bottom of the ocean. The buyout clearly isn't terrible, but any buyout is more than she has earned. The Caldwell/Fargas era needs to come to an end ASAP. I'm hoping the board is just waiting to name a competent AD to hire her replacement.

Honestly don't mind it from the recruiting perspective. Pretty hard to get better at recruiting if the contract isn't stable. Know that's a pretty unpopular opinion but I feel like this is more of a boost to help with that aspect of WBB.

well said, but she should have been gone years ago (maybe after she did not discipline a male coach for harassing college age girls at a bar and getting arrested), but the buyout, now that we kept her is not too high...maybe we can even get her out without a lawsuit..which would be nice...

If this were the WNBA she'd probably be great. Her game plan isn't bad, as evidenced by her multiple trips to the sweet 16. But her recruiting absolutely sucks. You can't run a good game plan without the players to do it.

Let's be honest. If she was a white male, she would be already gone. Our society lacks accountability and people find reasons to be victims. You can bet she would claim racial discrimination.
