Thank u for some much needed reasonableness in this thread. They at least match our talent in some areas if not outmatch us. BK still has a leg up on Jimbo as a head coach I think but they have the pieces to put together an upset. All these Cocky TD accounts couldnt see an upset until it hit them in the face, or should I say scoreboard. Bet they would’ve said the same thing last year, look where it got us

The same people who said Georgia would never win a chip.
Same people who said lsu would beat them last year by 30.
A&m has plenty of talent on that team now. It would take everything to go exactly right on offense for them to make a legitimate run at the league. 2024 would be their best chance.
All those players will be juniors. I just don't think Bobby petrino is going to sprinkle some magic fairy dust on that team.

You’re obviously still bitter about the A&M game last year…because you lost money.
Reminds me of Tiger fans whenever we won the SEC Championship in 2001. Beat #2 Tenn with Matt Mauck, won the Sugar Bowl…All in the second year of a former Coach…but all anyone could talk about was they lost to Ole Miss at home…the horror.
Say it with me…we OVERACHIEVED last year. Talking about aggy and not dominating arky is just nitpicking.
The guy did a phenomenal job, and we are poised to do great things this year.

By the time we get to A&M they will already be coming apart at the seams. Petrino and Fisher are going to loath each other by then. They might not even make it to Bama without a loss. I wouldn't be surprised if Arkansas takes them down.

I was concerned early on about A&M and Petrino, but not anymore. If you listen to Fisher in press conferences, it's pretty clear that he's not giving up control of the offense. He just can't do it. He's saying play-calling is going to be "collaborative", which means as head coach he's making the calls with input from the staff. So, in clutch moments, Jimbo will be making the calls, and Jimbo will suck. Just like he fricked things up last year. Then he's going to blame Petrino, at which point everything goes off the rails. They are going to have a couple of promising games and then it goes straight back to reality (probably 8-4). Then A&M will be trying to scrounge up buy-out money to get a new coach in before they have to start playing UT every year.
