I think he gets 2 even if we miss postseason here. Hes on our books till 2031 but Like I said too much $$ sunk in him now. But if 2028 comes and there’s still no natty appearance, there are gonna be tough questions to ask

ND is a blue blood program with 10+ national championships and 3 coaches with higher winning percentages than BK.

Looking at the schedule for this year and thinking about which games are most likely to clench my @ss more than Thai Pepper just north of campus.
I think 9-3 is our floor this season. I won’t get into it too deep here but obviously @FSU and @Bama are the two biggest matchups on our schedule.
But I’m most afraid of TAMU. Brin Kelly has a historic trend of underperforming in key late season games. Don’t even have to look at ND history for that, he shite the bed with us in that same matchup last yr. Plenty of examples at ND though if u did some research.
Thing that gets me, TAMU added bobby petrino who can get you 500+ypg whenever he wants. Just look at his time at Louisville. Just confirmed today too he’s calling the plays. Their Defense will get better because of most returning players are freshmen and sophomores. I bet $1000s on last yr game and got burned so Im not optimistic about this go around which seems worse any way u cut it.

i mean you can make excuses for them all you want, i actually agree that those guys had valid reasons to stay. But the fact of the matter is that BK wanted them as part of his vision and they declined. Now BK has to find other staff who he necessarily thinks are inferior

We brought him in early (before conf championship games), so he should have a little more time to meet our guys and implement his plans.

He'll likely need a year or two to get rolling, but looking at the schedule for next season I could easily see us going 10-2 +/- a championship appearance. Only scary games look like TAMU at Kyle field and Ole miss, but we get them at home. Bama has looked beatable (we nearly did it this season) AND we get them at home. I'd say we're a lock for a top tier non-NY6 bowl, maybe a NY6 if you're optimistic. How do you think next postseason will play out?

lol those are P5 teams not G5 teams. G5 has a lower standard of games within the conference so they can’t afford to play FCS teams if they want playoff chances
