Everyone has different rankings, but they’re somewhere between 75th-135.

Possible day two guys, but that can change after combine/pro day

Great interface but the rankings are suspect. I posted something about BTJ being their 59th ranked WR in November.

Not even remotely so. They clearly have him confused with some other Smith…

Look how they did when we attacked Wisconsin in the last 2 drives- sacks and fumbles

Definitely House’s schemes were limiting them

Whoever made this list needs to be fired. I can promise you, neither will get picked close to this projections. Wingo might crack top 5 at his position.

Think about how bad our coaching had to be if we looked the way we did and had the #1 and #3 DTs in the country?

fricking wild.

So if Wingo, Smith, an Jefferson are the 1,3, 11th rated DT's in the draft, how in the hell wasn't LSU putting more pressure on the QB with 4 man rush?

I did not see any interior defensive linemen putting pressure on LSU either. And that was with Charles Turner at Center. What do you expect them to do throw the offensive linemen out of their way? Pass blocking is too good in college. Very few DTs can get pressure up the middle. Wingo was one of the few I've seen who could do it. Before him you have to go back to Glen Dorsey and Chad Lavalais to find an LSU DT who pressured the QB. And that was before pass blocking started to be emphasized over run blocking.

Yeah as a general rule you’re not going to get pressure on the qb at that position unless it’s some freak like Dorsey , suh, or Donald.

It definitely doesn’t mean smith won’t be drafted in the top 3 rounds

Masson Smith must have shown someone something on tape.

His 2021 tape was actually very impressive. He was unblockable when he was on the field. His injury definitely slowed him down some and impacted his play early as well as his conditioning but also the way he was being used. So GMs and scouts see the potential and feel once they get him in their system they will unlock that potential and be a steal for them.

But seriously watch his film from 2021 his size, strength, and quickness was actually fun to watch. Would get you excited all over again about his potential.

No offense but If that’s true it must be an incredibly weak interior DL class.

They have Wingo as the #1 DT, yet the 76th best overall prospect so they are saying it is a weak class for DTs. Maybe this explains why Smith is leaving. Next year's class may be significantly better.

ETA: They have the top DT next year as #24 overall.

So we're losing 3/11 of the best draft eligible DTs in the country?

That would be the most underperforming group of all time

They now have him at #4, which seems about right.

Their defensive line classifications are odd. They have all defensive linemen, which includes DEs and DTs, then a break-down of DTs and DEs (makes sense so far).

Yet some players are classified as generic DLs and do not show up on the DE or DT list. For example, Jer'Zhan Newton who is Kiper's top DT does not show up on this DT list. In fact, the top 6 DTs on Kiper's list fall into that category. #7 on Kiper's list is Wingo. The rankings aren't the problem, but the classifications.
