He must be making some really strong assed offers from his wife’s account.

I doubt it...given he can make unfettered strong assed offers using money from anyone's bank account (except his or NC State's).

But I do find it a bit ironic your criticism of him centers around paying players when...the entire focus of recruiting now IS paying players? Would you prefer a HC who isn't very good at raising money and using it to his advantage? If so, I know a guy

The man was targeted by the media for doing the same thing other schools were doing and covered up for by his accusers. I never said anything about his "innocence", but you are living in clown world if you believe that him winning the recruiting game by any means necessary was isolated to Wade. You have no grasp of the history of dirtiness in NCAA basketball recruiting

He was also an arrogant jerk, by his own admission.

Great point. The overwhelming majority of coaches in the history of college football and basketball have run squeaky clean programs.

Unfortunately, we had the bad luck of hiring Wade, who is probably the worst offender in the HISTORY of college athletics.

Duke, UNC, UConn, and 90%+ of all the other schools have recruited their super star players COMPLETELY LEGALLY over the last 60 years, something that Wade is incapable of. Duke ESPECIALLY went above and beyond to remain clean and above reproach in their recruitment of Chris Duhon out of Louisiana in the late 90s

Also, our 2019 football team which anyone that is being objective realizes is the best team in the history of the sport, recruited those dominant players COMPLETELY LEGALLY without even a hint of impropriety, except for some idiot loose cannon Odell Beckham that foolishly ran on the field after the championship game and handed out cash to some of our star players who had again, never received A NICKEL in improper benefits.

Hell, we had an OL's father receive illegal benefits a few years before that, but none of our other players did on that team, especially Leonard Fournette. He, like virtually all players not recruited by that big, bad meanie Will Wade, played for nothing but a scholarship.

And of course this behavior couldn't have been predicted from Beckham, because everyone knows he didn't receive anything beyond what a scholarship legally provides while playing for LSU.

You should really keep the hot takes rolling in, the board would be better for it. One more thing: how is life living in fantasy land????

1 is a legit question

2 is not. Outside of politics and government, in what profession can you break rules, lie to your boss, get fired, and then later get rehired by the same employer?

I don’t agree. The answer to the first question is a waste of time. Beth isn’t getting a 1.3 million buyout for frickin’ softball. Hardly anyone cares that much about softball, lol. The second question has been beaten to death. Wade is dead and gone from the LSU program. He will never come back. Move on.

Cagkle on mound for hogs in 5th. Long relief. Won’t pitch tommoow if they win. He is our Zac Cowan.

Beth keeps making regionals. Don’t fire her, but let her contract run out and don’t extend. Let her leave.

Nup. Try again. LSU has a backbone. Other Universities may not.

If you been alive and watching lately we have not been to the WS since 2017. Thanks a long time and considering the players she had come thru, she had/has the talent…the coaching is not there.

WHY is she still employed by the State University of Louisiana?

Scott McMediocre doesn't want to pay her buyout, that's why. DAMF shouldn't have given her that extension.

Why? He's just going to respond with some PC milquetoast corporate speak.
