lol at either of those schools ever having the best record in the SEC; Tulane has more SEC titles than those schools combined.

Why not? Do these schools not host other SEC schools on a weekly basis? Your premise is very flawed.

The issue is if you move it out of Atlanta, even for a rotating line-up that includes Atlanta, the ACC will move in and permanently take up Atlanta and you wont have access anymore.

No need for conference championships with expanded playoffs.

Both of those schools stadium seats 10,000 less people than Atlanta. At $100 a ticket that's 1 million less in ticket sales. Then you have suites, concessions, parking..... all generating revenue for the SEC.

Monroe Louisiana makes the most sense.

I was thinking more Independence Bowl in Shreveport.

One of the models for the "new" conference lineup is a four team playoff for the SEC Championship. If that ends up being the case (no idea if it will) you will have two semi-final games before the championship game. More SEC games on TV and more $$$.

he sec championship is an event. The reason it’s been in Atlanta is it’s a major hub, with plenty of hotels, convention center, domes stadium, and major airport that’s accessible from anywhere in the us.
You can’t play the game in Columbia, Missouri or Starkville, Mississippi. That couldn’t support the influx.
don't know why this is getting downvoted - it's entirely correct.

The SECCG isn't just another game, it's a big event that needs to be planned well in advance. That's why on-campus won't work.

Similar to why the Super Bowl isn't played at one of the teams' stadiums. I think Atlanta is a fine place for the game, but if they want to rotate to New Orleans or Dallas, that's fine too.

And we do want it in a domed stadium to eliminate the risk of the game being played in horrible weather.

It should be a rotation for sure. Too many domes in the southeast to not move it around. Dallas, Houston, New Orleans and Atlanta all have hosted Super Bowls. Let them rotate hosting this game too.

Do like Superbowl and let cities bid for the event.

I might be biased but I think Nola is the best location for the SECCG. It’s centralized for most schools plus it’s a fun destination

Permanent sites should be-

Football - Atlanta
Basketball - Nashville
Baseball - Hoover but this could be moved or rotated

Atlanta is too important to the SEC to move the game and only 2 teams/fans travel.

Nashville a great location for all teams/fans to attend.
