And just because an AAU coach or a dirty agent gave a player money doesn't necessarily implicate the University..... Unless the coach orchestrated it. Let it play out before you fricking pussies freak out

I was certain Simmons and Blakeny would be the names we'd hear.

Kids of that magnitude aren’t pulling money from agencies like this. I doubt Simmons’ agency (Klutch Agency, owned by Lebron), would be dumb enough to keep detailed records on payments like this.

after doing some digging, Quarterman and Blakeney share the same agent, Aaron Turner (not the agency listed in this suit)

Doesn’t sound good at all. Players from Kentucky, Bama, Vandy, LSU, and USC are listed, so we won’t be the lone SEC team to be slammed if something happens.

What are they gonna do? Vacate all 11 wins from the JJ era?

Why are federal authorities investigating this?

I know it's against ncaa ruLe to accept benefits, but it's not a crime....

I'm kinda lost here, can someone explain?

To consider JJ the worst, you have to consider Bobby Knight's famous quote during the final four when playing LSU. The ones of you old enough know exactly what statement I'm referring to.

It was something about being worried near the end of a game and then looking down at the other bench and seeing Dale Brown, and no longer being worried about losing.

None of this is surprising, the situation with the schools, coaches and administrators raking in mega bucks and the players getting nothing is unsustainable. There will be a black market, and reality it comes in different ways.

boosters, shoe companies, agents, etc. all want a piece of the athlete and the athletes and their families who have little or nothing and who see everyone else making money off their kids are going to accept money.

We are a capitalistic society, and the NCAA is trying to run a non capitalistic system for some while they(the schools) remain capitalists.

Unless they have info that our staff knew about it, nothing big will come from this for LSU.

depends on how the NCAA feels that day.

USC was told “well you should have known Reggie was taking money from agents, so we slamming you”

Auburn was told “welp, you didn’t know, so we can’t penalize you.”

Hardly "every big school"....lol

Duke and UNC were also included. Those are a large majority of the "big schools" in college basketball.

If Dale couldn't win with Jackson, O'Neal, Roberts, Singleton, Boudreaux, and Sims, he deserves that criticism.
