Jarell Martin with a $54,472.72 loan is more than background noise.

As long as he has paid it back, we should be good.

TQ had 5 or 6 really nice games and a couple of incredible games at LSU. A lot of times he was just a miserable player with a miserable attitude.....I don't think LSU is going to get in any big trouble over this, but it would suck bad if they do because of TQ.

Dam Johnny Jones had stacked lineups and still couldn't figure it out.
We paid and still lost. Johnny is a fricking fool and his arse should be banned from coaching. Go after the people responsible and leaders who directed this instead of the players.

I just heard this news and don't want to read this whole thread. Are we going to be on probation?

I think the Feds are only concerned about schools like auburn and others who had people on staff using the money to bribe players

I don't think players getting paid by agents is of any concern to the Feds

Wouldn't this all hinge on the FBI being able to prove LSU had any knowledge of the activity with the agent(s)? If they can't prove that then all 30 of Johnny's wins at LSU should stick

Where do you see a date of the "loans" to Martin??

Jarrell Martin was playing games through March 2015. Christian Dawkins was recruiting Martin while at IMA (a competing agency) in 2014 and continued to do so when he started at ASM in January 2015.

If those payments were between January and March 2015, then it was while he was playing for LSU.

People are getting very confused

The FBI doesnt give a shite if a player receives money from an agent, as long as there wasnt a university employee using that to bribe said player to accept a scholarship to that school. That is where the fraud comes into play for a federal crime. This is what Auburn is inolved in

Through their investigation, the FBI has documents for expense items of everything that agency paid. That included payments they made to college players. That is what LSU is currently inolved in. The FBI doesnt give a shite, but the NCAA may

It was stated in one of the articles I read. I'm trying to find it, I'll link it when I do.

Duke and UNC were also included. Those are a large majority of the "big schools" in college basketball.

Agreed and I stand corrected if true. I didn't read and thought your list was all inclusive.
What did players at UNC and Duke do?
