I’d tend to agree if F King and Alleva would have left the NCAA out of it.

I think in a perfect world they would have. I think there is more to the story than them calling up the NCAA and inviting them to partake. I think the NCAA, as the governing body of college athletics, forced their hand into this.

I read an article regarding the Auburn situation where their president says the exact same thing. "When we sit down with Bruce Pearl, the NCAA will be involved".

I dont think this is a ploy to trap Will Wade. I think it's a procedural thing.

He’s not on trial. He doesn’t need to “declare innocence”

If nothing else comes out, he will be reinstated and coach at LSU next year.

I highly doubt he has to testify under oath.

If Will Wade just once declared his innocence I would be more inclined to say "frick you LSU" at this given moment

But notice he hasn't addressed the Yahoo Sorts article in any fashion. By proclaiming his innocence he is recognizing there is a charge.

What is the charge?

What if the bigger corruption lies in the NCAA?

You used this earlier this week and got shite on because it's obvious he is willing to talk to LSU, just not the NCAA at this time.

exactly this.

and the NCAA calling ahead is bullshite. They'll learn everything there is to learn come April. Alleva should have told them he didn't think it was appropriate at this time given there is a pending trial.

The board need to hear that and so does the media. We talk about the constitution and to some fight for it, others say it’s out dated. It’s real, his rights are real, and he should pick up the support of anyone who believes in it!

They clearly cannot let him coach right now.

Why? They could easily let him coach. Set up a meeting with Wade and Alleva along with King. No BOS. NO others. Talk it out. Come up with a plan that is best for LSU. Put out a statement that LSU will continue to investigate this matter but at this time their is no evidence of wrong doing by coach Wade and because of this he will be reinstated.

And LSU has created a soap opera to where that will actually cause a shitstorm

You cannot possibly be standing behind how they handled this. They have allowed a public back and forth game of bullshite paint them in a corner to where even Wade being vindicated is a negative light for LSU

LSU has three options: 1. Reinstate him as coach--this would make them "appear" that they caved, so not likely. 2. Terminate him---this would be a terrible PR move and they don't have enough concrete evidence , so not likely. 3. They maintain their position to keep him suspended until he meets with them and discusses everything in detail, in which case CWW probably never coaches another game for LSU whether he gets exonerated or not, this is the most likely way I see it going.

Maybe he is willing, maybe he isn't. I think you can argue that he is using the trial excuse to buy time. I dont think this is the wrong move for him at all. He definitely needs time.

In the end they can't talk. Him saying that he is "willing" too is meaningless from LSU's angle. And you are going to ask if I have ever been in an audit? lol. Have you? Then you certainly see LSU's side.

Yeah, especially on selective leaks on testimony that was thrown out by the judge.

If WW talks on the matter the judge may change his mind. That's what the defense attorney wants.
