Turn the gas up from 5 to 10. Wade knows his support among the fanbase is still strong, if not stronger, after a week. If this was the legal teams PR strategy, let the fanbase castigate the Admins, it worked brilliantly.

Yes I understand. I would still have preferred a single mission-statement-style sentence in there attesting to his integrity or innocence. You can make a broad philosophical statement that doesn’t jeopardize legal standing.

This statement proves Wade has better attorneys advising him than the ambulance chasers thinking for LSU. This was a hardcore response that puts Alleva and company in God's little acre.

And of course he's fighting for his job -- he's likely going to be get hit with severe NCAA show-cause penalty and his career in college is probably over, for a long, long time, if not forever.
So he's circling his wagons and doing all he can. But the guy is on tape - that's the massive problem he has.
