They are honoring the 1918 silent season due to WW1. These are awesome.

Damn so that helmet changes from purple to gold. I thought it just changed shades of purple. That's pretty cool

These are easily the most futuristic looking uniforms we've ever had. Very interesting that they try and pay homage to history like that.

They're not as bad as I thought. It's ok for one week imo.

I wasn’t a fan until I heard the story behind them. Very cool to honor the silent season.

That should shut most people hating on them up for a while. Those helmets are sick!!! I love the thought and history behind them. Geaux tigers!!!

The "oak pattern" reminds me too much of hawaiian shirts:



Also, why didn't they go with vintage number styles? Looks very wannabe Oregon-esque...

Frankly with the amount of effort they put into the whole "honoring the past" I think they missed the mark on the overall look, big time.
