Exactly. This is something new for one game. I'm not a huge fan of the numbers but I love the all white with the color changing helmets. I think it looks bad arse.

I feel like a fair amount of photoshop occurred to make the helmet colors contrast more than they really will. The number 8 looks like a chubby snowman. The oak detail looks like a Hawaiian shirt.

All this being said, from a distance, and likely on TV, this will look like a cool purple helmeted, alternate uniform with weird numbers

I think they look pretty cool as a one time thing alternate uniform. I like the helmet too.

I actually really like the numbers. It's a font that was used a lot in the early 20th century.

It looks like the areas of the helmet appear gold when the light directly reflects. I think it's going to look badass under the lights.

The helmets are really cool. It's awesome how they change from purple to gold when light hits them a certain way. There are a lot of details in the uniforms that have underlying meanings too, which I like. shite, compared to a lot of other programs permanent uniforms, these are ok, much less some of the janky alt unis that some programs have. Geaux Tigers!

It's funny because it's true.

Idk, they're actually pretty nice. It also gives the players an extra little edge when they see them and wear them for the first time. The players had to be pumped when they saw them, I know I would. I think they're pretty legit as an alt uniform, and Idk why anyone would dislike them, bc they're meaningful and visually aesthetic at the same time.
