Who is still building skyscrapers these days? In many cities buildings that were purchased for 9 figures ten years ago are now being sold for 5 to 6 million. Are people really going to buy condos in that building and live in downtown Mobile?
Now I’ll grant that Mobile has been on an upward trend for a while now. Kudos to them. Republican leadership.

That's great news! The wife and I took the Mardi Gras Amtrak line a while back to hang out in downtown Mobile. It was like a clean version of the FQ, no spay-paint, only a couple of homeless in a park (none in doorways) and no one shitting on the sidewalks.
