Wrong Wrong Wrong.
If you increase the minimum wage two things will happen. First, companies will slim down to almost zero excess jobs and invest in robots like kiosks at the fast food restaurants and then many low skill workers have no job. Second, everyone will demand a raise in relation to the minimum wage increase. This is simply the capitalist sense of self worth. The increase would last for a short period and people vote with their feet. To hire and keep higher level employees then companies will have to increase their pay. Meanwhile the cost of living rises to accomodate these higher wages and then the $15 an hour person is back where they started.
I am sorry but we all have to realize that all the tasks that needs to be done in a business are not worth the same. There is a lot greater supply of dishwashers than there are trained managers for a business and while the dishes need to be washed it is easier to find someone capable to do it than there is to manage it.

Guys, chill out. He hasn't even started yet. We don't know if he's going to be good or bad, but the chances of him being successful go way down if half our alumni base is against before he steps foot on campus.

I think LSU's board of directors should all be ashamed of themselves for hiring this guy as President. It was a political move to appease certain folks. It makes no sense.

Not only that, but at the rate the dollar is inflating, 15.00 will be worth what 7.25 is now, regardless of if they increase the pay rate
