If last year was his super senior year how can he play again in 2023? Not sure how Covid worked at Mcneese level.
2017 redshirt
2018 red fresh
2019 sophomore
2020 No season
2021 spring and fall. Junior
2022 senior.
Rooting for him.

Dude is in his 7th year of college. He was in the same class as Myles Brennan.

quote:I assume it is a case of the old “6th year senior” where there was a redshirt and a medical waiver, but then on top of that covid/2020 didn’t count at all. It doesn’t look like he played much in 2018 so that may be the waiver year.

There are some real shite bags in this thread. Just because you can say some pretty terrible shite without repercussions on an anonymous message board, doesn't mean you should.
What the frick is wrong with some of you people ?

How’s the stuttering during gameplay? Is he like Mel Tillis when he sings, it just goes away? Is communication an issue? Knowing Coach BK’s thorough approach, id imagine it’s a non-issue. I’m definitely rooting for this young man.

Speechless. Thank you for posting this video. I will be pulling for Andre Sam 110%. What courage it takes to do the things required to be a great football player despite his stuttering issue. Got my respect and makes you sit back and be thankful.
