Between Mulkey and Wade there is never a better time. Both coaches deserve it. I don't know how Woodward could tell Mulkey no.

He isn't telling them no. They have a consulting firm actively working on some things already, with an announcement coming "soon".

Open your checkbooks boys. Unfortunately the new place will need a corporate sponsor to foot alot of the bill.

Exxon Maravich Center
Raising Canes Maravich Center
Brown & Root Maravich Center
Lumen Maravich Center
Entergy Maravich Center
Edison Chouest Maravich Center
Rick’s Cabaret Maravich Center

New arena would be nice, but maybe an upgrade & Woody should "suggest" TAF work on setting up NIL deals (to keep up with the Jones') for a few years. Unlike some people, we don't pump all dat oil!

If a new Arena is built in a different location, will the names have to be the same or can they be changed?

How soon is that and how long does that take? Am curious to know cause Wade has mentioned it and asked for it the last 4 years in a reaux.

Tear the PMAC down and play sports in the River Center until a new palace can be built.

I don’t know how money for big projects will come in anymore. The players don’t want a new arena, they want money in their pocket. No more sleep pods in the locker room, just give the money to players so they will come to/stay in Baton Rouge.

Right? Wrong?

How much would that cost? The university isn’t paying for that, itd have to be all boosters.

Wade has said in the past that he cares a lot more about the practice facility being redone/upgraded than the actual arena.

The oil refiners and chem companies there need to pay for it.

IDK I think the actual building is fine. They should do something along the lines of what University of Houston did. I went to a game when it was old and dreary then again a couple of years ago when it was re done and it made a world of difference.

Exxon Maravich Center

Probably the best one.
We should do like UH did and get brand new LED lights, scoreboards that encircle the ceiling. Not sure on lowering capacity though.

I have no idea, but do you think there is support for say, a five fold increase in ticket prices?

The PMAC needs luxury boxes and there is absolutely zero way to get them in that building's current iteration.

I always liked the look of the UFO. I wouldn’t be opposed to a massive upgrade especially with seating.

“Walk-On’s Maravich Assembly Center”

Would be an awesome story about how two former basketball players started a business that eventually funded a new arena.

Why would multi national corporations pay for it? Outside of naming rights, how would this help their revenue?

I’m partial to building a new arena and leveling the PMAC. Clean slate to build from scratch with modern techniques to maximize fan engagement and noise.
