Well said. It's just frustrating to watch offensive struggles keep games close year after year.

I laughed at that statement, and that statement alone. That's why I took it out of the rest of the post. I never said anything about the question, so why are you going on about it like I did?..........oh yeah, it's because you're a dumbfrick that's getting a hard on because he thinks he's outsmarting everyone on here

Simple question:
Do you think LSU's players are "satsfied" with 10-2, or do you think it chaps their asses they did not beat Florida and Alabama?
If they aren't (and they are NOT, I am fairly certain), then why should the fans be satisfied?

Maybe because they contribute to every win and every loss, and fans contribute to, drum-roll please..
NOTHING!

Not nearly as foolish as you sound with this post. Fans like you deserve to relive the Archer/Hallman years. "Settling" for 9-10 wins with Frank Solich wasn't good enough for Nebraksa fans. How's it worked out for them since then? Tennessee was sick of "settling" with Fulmer. They've won 4 SEC games the last 3 years. And morons like you aren't even new. Darrell K Royal won 3 MNC's for Texas, but they were "settling" for a 8 wins his last couple of years, so he got shoved out. Fred Akers didn't win any, after 10 years and no MNC's he had to go, then it was 12 years with out so much as a top 10 finish. This season may not have gotten any hardware, but 10, maybe 11 wins and a top 5-7 finish in the best league CFB is a damn good season. If you don't appreciated it, you are doomed to be miserable.
Very good food for thought. Thanks for posting.

LSU does not commit a shitload of penalties.
quote:Not a foreign problem with young teams.
LSU's offensive players are always exactly where they are supposed to be, doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing.
quote:Assume you're speaking of DBs, who are also mostly inexperienced.
LSU's defensive players consistently utilize perfect form tackling...never trying for the "highlight" hit.
quote:Again you're reaching to say it's all on coaches. These aren't problems isolated to LSU.
LSU never has to use timeouts because of personnel problems, or inability to communicate plays to the offense.
They lessen with experience of playing together and gelling.
You know, these are the same coaches that taught the players and called the plays that blew every team not named bama completely off the field last year.
Comp% is down, drops up, lanes dirty, blown protects up, missed tacles and blown covers frequent, with margin of victory down as a result.
At what point do you bite the bullet and accept the players aren't quite as good at executing what is the LSU all time top 5 schemes in margin of victory?
It's amazing to get 10 Ws out of this young, decimated, pieced together bunch, actually.
I can take 10-2 this year and feel pretty good about 11-1 or even 12-0 next year, because I didn't really expect any more than 10 Ws this year with new QB, WRs and losses to D, before the OL losses.

Dude almost every game last year was a blowout. Even the seccg was a slaughter

Jesus, what did you not understand in that last post? I never commented on the question you were asking. I just laughed at your statement that was after the question about them being lucky.
So again, I hold the same view as you regarding the question you were asking everyone, so I don't need to answer it, because I hold the same view as you. I was laughing at a statement in the end of your post that was apart from the question you keep telling me to answer

Guys that's Les Miles philosophy. Play defense ,run the ball win the game in the fourth quarter. Play to the level of your opponent don't play to your potential.Lackluster unimpressive nailbiting heart attack forming performances that's how you describe Les Miles coaching philosophy

You're assuming quite a bit when you say "grown" about this lot of characters, lol.

No way people complaining about a 10-2 season were in Tiger Stadium when we lost to UH. Or UAB. Or were happy to make it to the Independence Bowl.

I was there both of those. Are you seriously happy with the way the team looked today? Do you not understand that it's possible to enjoy the win but also examine why it was such a close game? I bet the coaches are looking at film tomorrow to figure out the problems. Bc there are problems despite the win.
