re: Never seen so many grown men cry over a 10-2 football season

You're right Powerman!
LSU does not commit a shitload of penalties.
LSU's offensive players are always exactly where they are supposed to be, doing exactly what they are supposed to be doing.
LSU's defensive players consistently utilize perfect form tackling...never trying for the "highlight" hit.
LSU never has to use timeouts because of personnel problems, or inability to communicate plays to the offense.
Hell...Swiss watchmakers routinely kill themselves because their timepieces don't operate with the same precision of LSU's football team!

This is the question you dumb frick negatigers NEVER answer....what other CFB team is doing better than us? Go ahead, I'll give you the pick of the top twenty....GIVE ME A frickING TEAM THAT IS BETTER THAN LSU YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT! (and if you say bama I am going to point out to you their much more favorable schedule over the last few years and their higher degree of luck...good luck with any OTHER team you pick)

Yeah, yeah, yeah---been hearing the some ole shite for years now.
85-20 with top 10 rankings year after year after year. You clowns need to get some new material.
Under Miles LSU teams win, compete for west titles, and BCS bowl games like never before in LSU history.
Take that nega-Tiger title you are so proud of and stick it up your butt.

It's about W's and L's my man. It's that simple. No coach ever got fired for any stat other than W's and L's. Les got that covered.

I would NOT fire Miles. He's a good recruiter and brings generally positive attention to the school.
I would tell him that he's going to hire an OC to run the offense and if I see him try to call anything other than a timeout during a game, I will come down on the field and fire him on the spot.
I will then tell that OC and the DC (keeping Chavis) that they WILL instill some disipline on this team relative to penalties and fundamentals.
If the above does not work, I would try to find someone of the mold/stripe of Bellichik or Saban (obviously, I can't get them, but someone who is all business and expect results).

But what about the question nega tard...you didn't answer it. Can't come up with a better program than Les Miles LSU program?

I honestly think that a lot of people overestimated the talent and experience that this team brought to the table
Agreed.
But what's troubling is the long term habit of being unable to blow games open and put teams away. Yes we still usually win--usually. But that could be the difference between a 10 win successful season and a 12 win NC type season. Plus, blowouts enable backups to get experience and starters to rest and impresses voters. I don't know if Bama gets a mulligan last year if their wins hadn't all been blowouts.

I'm not disputing what you're asking in the question. I'm just laughing at that statement

Over the same 7 year period? I cannot.
Currently better?
1) Bama (don't talk to an LSU fan about luck)
2) Oregon
Equal?
1) Texas
2) Notre Dame

After eight years, why do y'all keep doing this to yourselves? It's really highly unlikely any other coach that replaced Saban would have LSU football at the level of success it is today.
And it's silly to get mad at fans that support and encourage CLM, as if they're the ones that made Saban leave LSU. CNS is the jerk wad that decided to take the job with an annual divisional opponent of LSU. Screw him, not LSU fans that support CLM.
When y'all figure this out, your LSU fandom will be much more enjoyable.

If people want to suck Miles' dick, and declare him great, fine. But just because I, and others, do not does not make us "lesser" Tiger fans.

Excuse me, those teams have been equal to or better than LSU? You're joking, right?

The question was about "programs.". Consistently in Top 5 and always in the BCSCG discussion.

I am not reading this whole thread. Am I happy with a 10-2 season---Yes. I can stomach the loss to Bama. We should have been 12-0. We could have been 8-4 or worse. What people on this board can be pissed at is the fact that we play up or down to the level of our competition. NO way todays game or last weeks vs Ole Miss should have finished the way they did. That lays solely on the feet of the head coach. Lucklily today Les ran up against a coach that is more conservative than he is(didn't think I would ever see that).

LOL...what a chicken shite. I got you man just admit it. There ARE NO OTHER PROGRAMS in CFB that you can hang your hat on other than Bama. So if Bama is all you got then that means we are no worse than the #2 program in the country. If you can give me any other team in the country that has a better chance than us of unseating Bama as number one, I will kneel before your genius. But until you can....SHUT THE frick UP YOU WHINEY BITCH!

It's pretty obvious you're pissed off.

The reason he questioned your seriousness is he is wondering if you watched Oregon play LSU last year? Remember that game? You obviously don't if you think Oregon is a better program than LSU.
