pretty sad that he can't even focus on the fact that there's a game in 4 days.

Hey I'm an Astros fan too, but...

quote:

I don’t know how to break this to you, but Ole Miss definitely won with Eli Manning. Orgeron wasn’t fired from Ole Miss for failing to win a championship, he was fired from there because they were downright awful.

And Houston Nutt, who can't get another job, won with CEO's recruited players. What does that tell you?

Here you go, my friend. Very first post ever at 8:30 this morning. A coincidence that it was first thing in the morning on a work day?

It’s not that difficult to see, Miles was doing this crap in the last yr of a 10+ yr career. He was never going to learn or become better.

It's kind of hard for a football coach to be better than an NC and a 10-win/year average over 11 years.

Hence the goal post discussion.

quote:

This is O’s second full yr, why does he not deserve some time?

Because he didn't deserve the chance to begin with, additionally, he hasn't treated the position like starting from scratch, nor was he hired for a complete rebuild. So no, he doesn't get the time of a normal coach. Especially not 11 years until he is proven to not be great.

We will know after the Auburn game if this offense is going to be something that can take us to the ship. After watching 3 games with 2 against good teams we will have a good idea if we can move the ball.

That’s fair, I agree

I'm sure you guys are talking through all this with your respective therapist, but Les is gone and never coming back.

Gone, a sad footnote of a man that the game passed by at the speed of light while he chewed grass.

Typical. Can't refute the comment with anything noteworthy on Orgeron's record, so resorts to belittling Les.

That O couldn’t win with the players he recruited, so he must not be a very good coach if someone else won with them.

I'm not sure how your connecting the dots here. You said that Miles was also coaching scared vs Bama as if that makes it ok that Orgeron was doing it as well. At no point did I suggest that he shouldn't be given time. In fact, I'm in the minority in believing he shouldn't even be on the hot seat going into the season.

It’s not an argument. You claimed we DOMINATED Eli’s Ole Miss teams.

My point is even with Eli, ole miss couldn’t achieve seccg or nc, freeze had to cheat to get success there, it’s a very hard program to build and win at

coach O is a fricking clown. The rest of the country knows it, you dumbasses just cant see it because he sounds like an idiot and cooks a mean gumbo.

But you have to admit, there is a LOT of room between not winning an SEC Championshop and what O did there.

It’s a hard place to win championships, not 5 games.

Yet O was still the worst coach ever at OM.

So, at a program that is difficult for anyone to win at, by your own admission, Orgeron was one of the worst of all time.

Is this supposed to be some argument that Orgeron isn't a bad coach?

Of course it was. I find it hilarious though that we discussed that the PR machine needed to crank out some anit-O threads to balance out the positive alters and now it's happening all of a sudden .

Hey don’t crap on O for getting a job, all the hate and blame needs to be on Alleva, he is the idiot that hired a guy that isn’t qualified to coach a top program.

But he did hire O and I’ll support him, not alleva.

Even IF O is a success, I want alleys gone.

This may be the most ridiculous argument ever made regarding the O hire.

You strike out on #1 and 2, so you hire #94

There are 40 better coaches than O with a better resume, and 35+ of them would've come to LSU. College Coaches that wouldnt leave current gig...

Saban
Meyer
Harbaugh
Petersen
Patterson (maybe)

Everyone else was possible if pursued legitimately.

Nope sorry should have been more specific, I’m talking much later in the great ones career, the blunder against Derek Dooleys UT team

I kind of feel bad for even mentioning that, but it seemed like a such a weak spot for their PR team!
