Daniels is not the answer . Auburn had a great gameplan . They shut down JD ability to run and made him pass to win the game .
JD has alot of positives : calm , is coachable , runs fast . At the end of the day , it’s about points on the scoreboard . He doesn’t see the whole field , throws late and behind and hangs onto the ball too long . I expected more from a guy with 30 starts . Nuss was asked to come in close to his own endzone in a close game , hostile territory . Nuss hit two receivers in the breadbasket with very catchable balls ( one was Boutte ) and they dropped them . One pass he rushed and it soared on him , I admit . He seems to set up faster and has a quicker release than JD . A live SEC game is always quicker and faster than practice reps . Game speed is hard to replicate in practice . From what I have seen
I would give Nuss a shot in games . JD seems like a deer in the headlights , afraid to make a mistake , waiting to frame the perfect shot instead of letting the ball go . The meat of the SEC schedule is ahead of us . In todays SEC games , we need more production out of the QB position than we are getting currently .

I’m ready for Walker reps personally. Not opposed to see some more series from Nuss either.

What has Nuss done to where people think he should get a shot?

LSU has a great defense. I’m perfectly fine having the guy in that would rather run or take a sack than throw an interception. Is it ideal? No but for the 2022 LSU football team it’s the best option.

Ness didn’t do anything better when he had the chance. Now sit down

1) he threw it to people every time he dropped back
2)he threw literally 1 bad pass

That's what I want to know. We've seen plenty of Nuss this year. It's not pretty. It'll be the best for LSU if he's never the starting QB barring a Joe Burrow esque improvement.

The way Daniels plays & his frame, Nuss will play. It’s only a matter of when & how much

the problem is daniels doesnt know how to slide.

thats another coaching 101 failures for this coaching staff.

this ^^^^^^

its on the coaching

lets start by sending nuss in with the lead and 5 minutes on the clock and the team has 1 job, kill the clock.

does anyone remind nuss to not snap it until its under 5 seconds? nope, so he goes put there and after a false start he snaps the ball with 18 seconds still on the play clock. shite like that is so basic to fundamental football someone on the coaching staff should have been fired and not even get a ride home.

its a recurring theme every week no one on this coaching staff is aware there is a clock and how to manage it

i had really high hopes for BK but so far im starting to think we got sold a bill of goods and he has no clue

What are you talking about? He was 2/6 with 3 drops and 1 throwaway. He gives us a better chance for sure.

We have?

He hasn't started a single game and only played in garbage time. Completely useless.

Once again:
2/6
3 drops
1 throwaway on his first drive, Kelly chews him out, no more throwaways for the rest of the game. Are y’all making generalizations based off the stats or actually watching the game?

Every single year, everybody wants the next guy in line thinking he will do better and every year this fails miserably.

Quit wishing to throw the younger guys to the wolves and let them get their natural progression.

The "projected number one receiver in the upcoming NFL Draft" doesn't seem very happy with Forrest Daniels.

So, you two are not very smart when it comes to observing how the LSU quarterbacks have played.

RUN FORREST DANIELS RUN!

Daniels may go the entire season without a pick.
He is afraid to throw.

He chewed him out for bailing too quickly on the throwaway, and rightfully so. You are correct though about the three drops. Those three balls get caught and its a different ballgame. Last night was way too small a sample size to judge him.

I’m not making any generalizations. I genuinely want to know what people have seen from Nuss to make them think he has to be the guy. I want to believe but I’m not seeing it. Maybe I’m the problem. I understand that Daniels has limitations but I feel Nuss does to.

Need to play Nuss. The problem is, the coaching staff reads the Rant, which hates him as a QB.

Nuss is worse than Daniels. If you can't see that I don't know what to tell you.
