The vocal “minority” is about 95% of the fanbase.

It’s that easy? Where do I sign up?

If that were true, I know exactly which version of which sport money needs to stop funneling to

We have 7 nattys in baseball and we still had Braxton's dad build the bullpen in the outfield. We're building a new arena I think we can figure something out to win

Exactly. I don’t think there is a single power 4 school in the country that is elite in all major sports. If Texas and Oregon can’t even accomplish that with all the money they have flowing in then nobody can.

The one question I would have for you is how many schools are there out there that are really elite in football, baseball, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball? I would imagine it’s very few, if any at all. We invest a shite ton of money into baseball and women’s basketball. The vast majority of schools don’t do that. You still have to pick and choose what to invest in, as do other schools. There isn’t an unlimited stream of money for any school.
don’t forget about gymnastics and softball
a lot of sports to divi the money in order to be competitive in recruiting/nil
not many fbs schools can say the same

but we do have to come to grips and admit that the vast majority of the vocal minority have extremely low IQs.
This is it. There are a handful of posters who have this insane cult love for a guy who is a average coach and cheated the school they claim to support. When he was caught instead of just coming clean he lied to his bosses and didn't cooperate. This is why he was fired. They blame Woodward because he fired Wade. The people that hate him are too low IQ to realize how the real world works. Wade was a embarrassment to LSU and it wasn't going away. Now their argument about what other schools, Arizona, Kansas etc were doing is valid. The people above Woodward didn't see that juice would be worth the squeeze in a fight with the NCAA and the heat the media was bringing. NCAA wanted their pound of flesh and they would not take down a blue blood. LSU was a easy target because in the best of times Basketball is just something to do in between football, spring football and baseball. There are not enough ppl that will invest $ in basketball like they will football. NO they will not take money from womens basketball for men's. Having women's BB be premier gives woke Tate and the board a way to show they support diversity. It keeps the shorthair Suburu driving crowd happy and that looks good for them.

You can still show competitive behaviors when undermanned.
This team has no fire.
Wade didn’t have perennial powerhouse rosters. But dang it could he light a fire

There is actually some unwarranted cult love for an underachieving current mbb coach at lsu.
I just don't see how anyone can be enthusiastic about him. His results are poor. His demeanor is meek. He isn't a dynamic personality. He doesn't have the aura of a winner, IMO.
He should be replaced at the end of this season.

It's truly ironic how you claim to know how the world works, after describing how we would've been involved in an unwanted fight with the big, bad NCAA, and just had to avoid it by golly!!!!!
Just a few days ago, Michigan was the latest school to tell them to go fLuck right on off "we ain't negotiating shite" in their 130 page response to that worthless NOA that was sent to them.
The schools with balls dictate terms to the NCAA. LSU rolls over and takes the punishment.

I agree with most of what you are saying except I don’t see a cult following for McMahon. I think those are ppl just wanting ppl to be successful no matter who the coach is.

Well as it stands now WBB is fun to watch
Women's basketball, even at elite levels, is unwatchable.

Those posters are people who previously said that anyone could do what Wade was doing so when McMahon was hired they canonized him based on nothing. Now they’re just saying anything to try and prove their predictions were right and they’ll say anything that opposes the fans who warned them a few years back. They can’t admit they were wrong which is why you see the constant excuses. They’re really defending themselves more than they are McMahon.

and go back to the Nikki Fargas days?

Tennessee is competitive in every top 4 collegiate sport, no reason we can’t be either

Absolute no brainer.
WBB loses a ton of money yearly.
