So you’d rather be Tennessee this morning?

Thanks Coach. I’ll keep that in mind when I head out to take infield and BP today.

Screw that. Pressure busts pipes. Build on this. Win in the 10th or the first. I don’t care. This team needed a spark and confidence. It got em. All of college baseball noticed too.

They still had to come up with a walk, two singles, and a HR (two of those hits with two outs) to make Tennessee pay for their mistakes. For as much as fans have complained about lack of timely hitting, that can’t be seen as anything other than a good thing.

Exactly. And champions don’t choke in the biggest moments.
27 outs. Last night Tennessee couldn’t get the final outs when it counted.

There would have been no shame losing that game, either. You don’t know ball

Not the downvoters who knew Tennessee shot their pitching wad in the first two games and only had one win to show for it.

This narrative just isn’t true. Hell Frey may have beaten the first one. And the 2nd was dangerous right off the bat. Classic chop mid hopper.

Anyone glossing over those is either a coping Tenny fan or a hater LSU fan.

Some of you fricking idiots don’t believe in joy.

The same exact thing could have been said about UT’s 5 run 8th inning last night. If Jones makes the snag that he did today, those runs don’t happen. Defensive mistakes are part of the game and they went both ways in this series. That’s often the case when the team are both very good.

LSU is a top of the 8th inning pitching meltdown away from sweeping. See how that works?
