I was with you until I watched most of their Run-Rule sweep of the UT Longhorns.
They hit the ball like it was an insult to strike out or not get solid contact. It's going to take a Montana Fouts type of pitcher to shut them down.
Speaking of UT, their CF Shannon Rhodes is the only player I would take at that position over Aliyah Andrews, and rather easily at that.

LSU cannot ask for a better schedule or setup to get to OKC.

GW has some gaudy stats but I think their conference might be terrible. 30% of the league won 2 or fewer games on the season.

Our numbers as a team are horrible.We have 3 girls hitting over 300. Softball is not like baseball and your good teams have 7 or 8 hitting over 300. Dobson is suppose to be one of the best hitting coachs in the nation but our hitting has been bad. I believe he is hitting coach on team USA

We have, but we’ve been very inconsistent at the plate and lost our best/ or second best hitter and starting CFer for the season early on. I think that’s still a hole in the lineup.
We also seem to give up an obligatory homer every single game. So if that’s going to continue, hopefully it’s with no one on base this weekend.
Should be a pretty good weekend of ball in Baton Rouge.

I wouldn't be happy either. The committee is up the SEC's behind. Just calling it like it is. Some of these teams from other conferences are very deserving!
