HOLY S#IT!!! We got the 7th seed? Wow. Looks like the committee rewarded us for playing the hardest schedule in over a decade.

LSU had a crazy amount of losses, more than we probably should have but also a lot of good wins vs top 25/top 50 teams.
This says all that needs to be said about the selections committee's priority when it comes to seeding.

I will be honest, I don't think this team can hold a candle stick to some of our past teams that didn't host a super but the committee clearly sent a message that they valued the tough schedule despite all the losses.
I'll take it. They rewarded LSU for going above and beyond, despite accumulating losses also gained a lot of good wins.

That's my feelings, too. Good team, but not as good as prior years where we were not a national seed. Just a few spots higher than I thought was right.
