I am always optimistic. We shall see.

Surprising that he wouldn't go fight for a job elsewhere. But it's so late in the process who knows.
Maybe everybody got what they wanted.
Kelly got an experienced camp arm to go through the spring and summer practices.
Brennan got one more chance to see if LSU football is for him. And maybe more importantly, he got NIL connections; his family money is from restaurants. That deal with Walk Ons might have been the thing he wanted... not for the money, but to hang around the owners. He may be running or co-owning one of those restaurants soon.

I only know that he wanted to finish with the team that he loved. Myles is a class act. I will not be happy if we see JJ two play out. But trust the coaches until you can't. Obviously the decision was mad before the beginning of fall practice. So I am thinking he hasn't recovered enough to continue his hopes of a career. Best of luck Myles.

Wish him the absolute best of luck. If he's walking away from the game, I hope he has a successful career in something other than sports.

I said when he started putting on all the weight that I was concerned his head just wasn’t in it.
But proud of him for getting back in shape and giving it a go. Valiant effort. Props. Always a Tiger.

Best of luck to him. He was very talented but just could not catch a break.

You are right. Started 3 games and lost 2, to Mississippi State and Missouri...beat Vandy though..

If he was worth being the starter they wouldn't have gone shopping for a QB in the first place

No matter what happens to Myles, he played on our 15-0 season. He is a champion.

Very sorry to hear this

Kinda strange. Even if he wasn't going to be the starter he still could have gotten PT down the line this season if anything happened to the guy(s) in front of him. Injury, poor play, etc. Guess there's some truth to the rumors that he didn't care as much about football over the summer, just wanted to get some NIL sponsors and go fishing over practicing with the receivers.
Kinda disappointed but it's his life. His family is decently well off so it's not like he had people depending on him to secure the bag. I guess he can just enjoy the outdoors and stuff now. Wish him well.

This is horrible news.

And on a side note, that means that instead of 2/3 only 1/2 of the Rant will be apeshit pissed when the starter for FSU is announced.

The only way Nuss is staying is if he is named the starter. Otherwise, he is flying the coop and i wouldn't blame him.
Brennan or stay leaving would have no effect on Nuss. Nuss gets to start next year or two, Walker Howard after that. LSU's been without a stable QB room for so long, y'all have forgotten what it looks like.

Does he have to give the truck back ?

58% completion % against MSU, 2 ints , 5/17 on 3rd down
When you are giving the ball back to the other team that much they are going to score more points, they wouldnt score 44 if Burrow was the QB even with our terrible defense....and Burrow would have put up more than 34. Did the offense even put up 34? Brennan had 3 TD passes and we had no rushing TDs, so did the defense score some points, i have blocked those games from my mind.
0/10 on 3rd down against Missouri, how is that even possible

Correct, he would have started because there was no one else to beat him out.

Frustrating but waiting to hear why he left. Good luck to him.
The staff put valuable resources into him in the Spring and Fall. Resources that could have been placed on the other QBs. A few weeks before the season starts he leaves?

Many have and succeeded. Jeff Driskel comes to mind. He was awful at Florida, so he transferred to LATech and had a really good season there
Driskel transferred in January, had a full spring and fall with new team.
2 weeks before opening day is a bit late in the game to transfer and beat anyone out.

They probably released the depth chart internally today. And he was more than likely 3rd string. Reality hurts

Not shocking…I’m guessing he wasn’t the same after the injuries.
He wasnt the same since we got a new coach who opened up the competion so that the best option would be our starter. Guess falling to at least 3rd on the depth cart was too much to handle.
