He (or someone close) is getting blown up by schools that will guarantee that he will start. Pick the best opportunity to shine and get drafted. Best wishes to him!!

Lots of bad luck along the way but I salute him for trying to persevere through it all
This would be the second time he's left the team.

I saw a lot of tape on Brennan with wrs dropping passes all over. The summer of 10000 catches was more about the receivers catching than the qb throwing it.
Yall have short memories.
Wish Myles luck in the future and

They probably released the depth chart internally today. And he was more than likely 3rd string. Reality hurts
I hope that isn’t it. Sounds bad if it’s true.

Could argue it’s the 3rd time. Remember when he decommitted after LSU offered Tua in 2016? I remember.
I don’t dislike Myles Brennan, but the reverence he’s held to here is just hilarious

He stuck it out with us for like 6 years and didn’t run to the portal

Damn, was hoping he would be the veteran depth that we need.
I see what you’re saying but Daniels has played more games than Brennan

That was Burrow you were watching. Myles was never pro material. That's why none wanted him when he was in the portal.

Becuase he loves LSU. He didn't want to play for anyone else.

Nussmeier is as good as gone.

This is official per LSU by the way

Thank you for staying and sticking it out, Myles. Bless you, and the best of luck to you in all you do!

I don't trust that Denbrock and BK knows who's best for the competition in this league yet. I think this was a case where the competition could've very well lasted a few weeks into the season. I know Myles gave it more than most but I think if he would've kept working he'd get a chance to seize the job at some point this season.
Obviously the staff has seen enough from Daniels and Nuss that they feel good about this but I disagree from the little bit I've seen of them. Guess that's why I'm not a coach.
With Nussmeier's potential I'm still surprised he hasn't pulled away from Daniels.

Not shocking…I’m guessing he wasn’t the same after the injuries.
My read on it is that he didn't have the desire to be the starting QB and the desire to put in the work.
Even then, he was going to have to outperform the others.
"Walking away from football?" That's pathetic.

Brian Kelly Confirms it. Twitter

Give him a GA position right away

Maybe he’s doing what others have done and decided to prepare himself for the NFL draft. He knows he is not going to get a chance to play this season and has no chance to be drafted in the early rounds.

Maybe Daniels has just as much potential at LSU.
